Zombie Terror (book 1)

chapter 1 - the new start of the end

Okay, basically I read this story. It's awful, trust me it is awful.
I'm trying to update everything to make it better. A few times, I'll probably get too lazy to redo everything but I promise I'll try to update every single chapter.

"Alright class, the principle wants to inform us that we are going to end class early. But, unfortunately there has been a disease that is spreading so please be aware. If I were you, I would go straight home and lock all the doors." Ms. Morris suddenly says. I glanced at her, she looked scared. I could tell by her eyes.

I sighed in relief that we are finally skipping half of the day, I honestly don't like school.

"Please, students. I warn you, stay in your homes and don't come out till this virus passes." I've heard, there is this virus being spread in Atlanta. Scientists were examining on a human body wondering what happens if they add something or whatever to the body but suddenly shit went down.

Luckily I live in Florida, all that stuff is happening over there and not here.

"You may go now students, stay safe." The teacher said without smiling, watching us getting up and leaving the classroom.

I grabbed my bag with my belongings in and walked out of the classroom with everyone including my boyfriend Matt.

"Hey, Claire." Matt grabbed my elbow and quickly turning me around to face him.

I looked at him in confusion wondering what's wrong, usually he isn't like this.

"We probably need to leave now." Matt whispered, I opened my mouth without saying anything. I'm so confused, I love this boy in my whole life and something is wrong.

"What's wrong? What the hell is going on?" I asked, he shook his head and rubbed his chin and jaw.

"My da-" suddenly gunshots sounded through the hall, everyone screamed and crouched down hoping not to get hit by a bullet.

"Oh my god, what the hell?" I murmured, I looked around to see what's happening but Matt tugged my arm pulling me into a classroom.

"Look, Claire I have no time to explain but we need to leave immediately." Matt said in a tone, I could tell he was worried about something. He was sweating and breath so fast.

"Okay, what should we do?" I asked, more gunshots were fired out in the hallway. I don't know what they are doing but I heard screams and crying.

"We need to get pass them, but we have to get Randy and Abby. They are our friends."

"Okay, u-" I got interrupted by the vibration of my phone, I looked down and pulled my phone out.

'Hey it's Abby, shit is happening but me and Randy are outside hiding in the jeep, come meet up with us'

I sighed in relief, closing my eyes for a second.

I opened my eyes and looked at Matt who begging to leave the hell of this school with soldiers shooting random students maybe teachers.

"Oh, yeah Abby is outside with Randy in his jeep. So we need to go now." I whispered loudly. I stared into his blue eyes.

"Okay, let's get out of here. Through the window." He pointed out, I looked over and smiled then I looked back Matt.

"Come on let's go." I punched his arm playfully and quietly ran to the window with Matt

"Shh." Matt shushed quickly to crouching down noticing two soldiers standing outside with their rifles which looks deadly.

I crouched down quickly before anyone notices me, I peeked over matts shoulder staring at the two men with their rifles.

A car in flames came out all of sudden, As watched the flaming car running through the soldiers starting yelling.

"Claire come on." Matt said pulling my arm to Randy's truck, we kept running. Gunshots everywhere.

"Matt! Claire!" Abby screamed, which was very dumb of her. I brought my finger up to my mouth to shush her as we kept running towards the jeep.

We finally got to the jeep and hopped on. Randy nodded clenching his jaw, turning on the engine. Driving off before the soldiers even notice.

I am trying my best to rewrite the story, this was my very first story. It takes a lot of time to correct everything in this book but oh well. It's all worth it.
