"Hey Abby, you okay back there?." Randy asking Abby who is shaking a little. I glanced over and studied her features, she looks scared.

"Hey, it's gonna be alright." I caught her attention by touching her hand and looking into her eyes. "We're gonna go to Bryce and Mike's school and pick them up, then we're gonna go somewhere safe."

She looked at me for a few seconds then nodded with a small smile and looked away.

Abby is my bestfriend, I would do anything for her. She went through a lot with me and my family. She like my sister, we may not be related but we're sisters at heart.

"Alright, I'm gonna stay here while you go get Bryce and Mike. Once you get them, come back immediately. Then we're out of here." Randy said in a tone looking at me, I shook my head and opened the door myself and got out.

I hurriedly to the school and started looking around for Mike and Bryce. There is a lot of parents looking their child, hopefully they find them before the army comes here.

"Claire!" I quickly turned and spotted Mike and Bryce. They were running towards me. I smiled a little walking towards them.

"It's happening." What's happening? What is going on? I honestly don't wanna know but I ask anyway.

"What the hell happening?" I asked loudly over the yelling parents and children's voices. I kept looking at the two boys and waited for an answer.

"You know those zombie shows and movies I watch? And those zombie games?" Mike asked. I nodded understanding what he asked. Wait, zombies?

"Well it's fucking happening right now." Bryce said seconds before gunshots fired behind us.
