Me, Matt, Bryce, and Reese got to the gas station and saw there was no zombies. We parked where the gas was which was in the back weird....
" Alright, me and Reese will look inside and y'all keep watch" Matt told us and Matt gave me his axe and a kiss and left.
"Hey, Bryce stay in the car I'm going to let Chip go do his business. I grabbed his rope 'leash' and put it on him and he barked once. and I let him out and Chip went to a tree and did his business. Then I tied the rope on the mirror outside of the car. I heard scream inside and one gunshot so I ran in and saw Matt bitten... I ran to him.
"Matt! no no no please" I panicked. He was struggling for air. I started crying.
"Matt..." I whimpered.
He slowly closed his eyes and died....
"Matt no" I whimpered.
"Claire, I'm sorry" Reese told me putting his hand on my back. I got up and hugged Reese crying in his arms. He picked me up and carried me to the car and put me in the front seat. I was bawling my eyes out when Bryce said where's Matt.
Reese told him and he seem upset and sad at the same time.
I did not know what to do I was so depressed. We were in the car at the gas station and I was waiting for us to leave.
"Claire, I'm sorry about your guy but I was looking in the shelfs and Matt opened the bathroom door and a zombie stumbled on him and bit him and I shot the zombie and.."
"It's fine" I disrupt him then started to cry. Reese rubbed my back and started the car and left the gas station.
