Always Been You...Liam (Done but needs to be Editied)

Chapter 20

I couldn't help but smile when we got home it was midnight and the kids where all asleep peacefully in are arms. I couldn't help but smile at the picture in front of me nothing could ruin this moment. I put the twins quietly to bed while Liam went and put Abella down. I walk out of their room and change out of my wedding dress to a pair of pajamas the soft fabric clinging to my curves. I let my hair down as the loose curls roll down my back in coils. It's going to be hard to brush out in the morning but I'm to tired to care, I slip into bed and wait for Liam's body to roll up against mine. A few minutes later I feel his arms wrap around me holding me close and soon am asleep.

At around one in the morning something smelt as if it was burning, I poke open my eyes to see smoke coming by the door. I shake on Liam and he soon wakes up, I point to the door not wanting to breath in the smoke. He and I get up and head to the kids rooms, I grab Abella and wake her up and put her in Liam's arms and take the twins in my arms. We quickly run out of the apartment that was on fire now and go out into the hall. I look to the right and see the ceiling caving in ontop of the floor, I look to the left to see the stair case. I then watch as my neighbors run out of their apartment and run down the stairs we quickly follow. We soon hit the ground floor to see that the whole building was going to come down any minute, we quickly exit the building as it comes down behind us.

I look up and can feel the tears coming down my face as I hold the twins closer to me, Liam wraps his arm around my waist Abella in his other arm. Her big blue eyes filled with fear, the poor thing must be scared now.

"Excuse me this way please so we can check on you," an ambulance driver says walking up to us. I nod and follow the women her hair was pulled up in a bun her big green eyes held sorrow in them. I sit down as she checks on me and the twins,

"Well Miss you're all right and so are your little boys," she says with a soft smile. I nod quickly and get up looking for Liam. I push through the crowd and find him at another ambulance with Abella wrapped in his arms. I walk over to him and take a sigh of relief at the sight of them unharmed.

"We got real lucky Lani," Liam says standing up putting Bells to her feet and grabbing her small hand in his.

"I know I wonder who did it?" I question. A police officer walks up to us and gives us a sad smile.

"It looks as if someone did it on purpose, it was no accident that this happened," he tells me. I look at Liam and whimper. I wonder who did it? Who would hurt innocent people like us.

"Have you found anything?" I question quietly.

"All we've found is a charm bracelt where the fire started," he tells me.

"Can I see it?" Liam speaks up. The officer nods and holds up a baggy with a silver charm braclet inside with a heart and the letter L was on the small thing.

"Does it look familar?" the officer questions him.

"Yeah that's the bracelet I gave my ex girlfriend but she and I broke up a long time ago," he replies.

"Can you please tell us her name?" he asks Liam, even though it's more like a beg.

"Uhh...yeah, Tiana Woodland she lives right by Centeral Park I've never been to her house so I don't know what her address is. I hope I  could help," Liam mutters.

"Oh you did thank you," the officer says with a soft smile walking back to the others. I look at Liam.

"Do you think she did this to get back at you? As revenge?" I question quietly.

"Maybe, but I haven't talked to her since I broke up with her,so I don't know why she did it...." he says with a sigh taking one of the boys from me.

"Well we need to find a new place," I mumble.

"Yeah I guess so, huh," he says.

"Yeah my brother can watch Abella and Jackie can watch the boys," I tell him.

"That's a good idea while we search for a place," he says nodding his head in agreement. I look over at my neighbors the Wan family and see that their crying. I then look over at a stretcher and see their tweleve year old son their with a mask while a ambulance person is trying to revive him. After a couple of minutes the man stops and looks at the Wan family with a sad face and says something making Gwen the mother start to bawl again her husband rubbing her back while their daughter just silently cried.

They lost someone because of that evil bitch, families are being ripped apart from their perfect lives because of revenge. Tiana took it to far this time. This isn't revenge this is murder. Innocent people killed because she was jealous that Liam chose me over her. She doesn't care that people are now dead because all she wanted was Liam. She's just so selfish. I hate her. I know hate's a large word are you sure you mean that? All I have to say is people that rape, murder, or do anything bad like that don't deserve to be alive or loved. There might be something wrong with them but really? Is killing or hurting an innocent person the only way to make you feel okay? Just urgh. No! I can't stand people like that.

I guess though I should just be happy that my family is alive and well that's all that matters now. I need to stay strong for them so we can get through this. I had Liam here with me, he'll help. I mean we're a team now two heads are better than one is what I like to say. I guess it's true. What if it was just me and I couldn't carry all of my kids I would have to leave one behind which would break my heart. I would die for my kids they're my world my everything. I could never leave one behind. But what if that happened? Would one of them be dead? Would I be alive now? Would one of them have mental problems if I didn't get all of them? All these questions raced through my mind making a sheild of tears come over my eyes.

"Are you all right, Lani?" I hear Liam whisper in my ear.

"I was just wondering what would of happened if I didn't have you their to help me. Would I have to leave one of the kids behind? All of these questions raced through my mind, it scared me Liam," I whisper back.

"But I was there," he says chuckling just a bit.

"Which is why I'm so greatful because if you wheren't I don't know what would of happened. Thank you Liam. You have know idea how happy I am that there all right," I tell him gesturing to the kids.

"I'm just glad we're all alright," he whispers.

"Agreed, what time is it?" I question.

"It's 2 in the morning," he says pulling out his phone from his short pockets.

"How do you have your phone?" I question.

"Was to lazy to change all the way so I just put on some shorts and accidently put my phone in the pocket probably thinking I was going to work," he says with a shrug.

"Oh," I say my mouth making a perfect 'o' shape.

"You're to cute for your own good, you know that," he says chuckling kissing my lips.

"Of course I do, I use it against people all the time," I reply cockly.

"Well someone is beign cocky," he says with a laugh.

"Look who's talking! You think you're so cool and stuff," I say shaking my head.

"Just cause I'm cooler than you doesn't mean you have to get mad about it," he chuckles.

"Whatever come on let's go to my brothers place and explain everthing then find a hotel," I mumble as we get into the car. I always have an extra set of keys with me where ever I go so does Liam so it was all good.

AN: Sorry guys for such a short chapter! :( But I didn't know what to write and this popped into my mind and I didn't know how I could expand it so here it is! :) any way I hope you liked it! Ik Tiana is sucha bitch! & it had to happen! :D So I hope you enjoyed only two more chapters after that then this story is offically over! D: Ik!
