Matt's POV:
The police came shortly after Tom had used my phone to call them. I was extremely tired, and just wanted to sleep on the couch..
"Matt!" Edd shook me gently awake.
"We want to ask you some questions." The police officer stated in front of me.
It was a male police officer, with brown hair and a small beard. He looked to be in his 20s.
I nodded, and rubbed my tired eyes.
"So, you assulted this man because he had a gun?" The police officer asked. A woman walked over to the officer and tapped on his shoulder.
She had brown hair as well, but it was wavy, she also had a beige trench coat on.
"Sir, we found this in one of the rooms while investigating." The woman said.
It was the giant black tentacle that was in Edd's room in a plastic see through bag. Poor guy had to throw that up...
I can't even imagine doing that..."Would you mind explaining this?" The police officer asked firmly, but his eyes showed a tiny bit of fear.
"It's a long story.." I said, scratching the back of my head awkwardly.
"And to be honest, I don't really know what it is."The police officer stared at me questionably.
"Write it off as a sex toy and keep it in the bag till we have further information." The officer said.My face turned bright red as I heard this.
"W-What?" I ask, standing up from the couch.
"It's not-"
"What's a sex toy?" Tom asked, interrupting me.....
......
The room quickly went silent, everyone had awkward faces except for Tom.
"Uuuuuuhhhh..." I say awkwardly, not even knowing how to react.
Should I tell him?"I'll tell you later.." Edd said quietly.
"Anyways.." The police officer said.
"We will ask this person some questions, and we'll update you on any information." The police states.
The police officer and detective and two other police officers walked out of the house.
I close the door behind them and sigh deeply.
"That's it." I state, and walk over to the kitchen. Tom, Edd, and Tord all follow me in confusion, and I walk over to the back door where its sealed with tape and a plastic wrap.Oh..right. Can't go out this way..
I turn around and walk out the front door, and walk around back. Outside it's raining lightly, almost not here anymore.
The leaves, grass, and dirt crunch under our feet, as I walk to the backyard, my friends right behind me.
I stand infront of a wooden gate that separated the outside world and my backyard, and push it open, with no luck.
I then jump on top of the gate, hurting my chest in the process, and reach to unlatch the gate lock, and open it with ease. The gate door swings open, with me on it, and I almost crash into the fence separating Edd's house from his neighbor's house.
I hop off the gate, and slightly limp over to the backyard. The backyard's flowers near the back door had all wilted, the grass is wet, and green, and the pavement near the door had bits of glass near it. I looked around more. The burnt sticks lay idle on the ground, separated and wet.
Confused to where it would be, I start looking around.
"What's wrong?" Edd asks me confused.
I stay silent, and look around the grass.Aha!
I reach into the grass, and pull out the Ouija board, its wet, and covered in bits of grass and dead bugs.
Tom, Tord, and Edd all step back in fear.
I flick a worm off the ouija board, and look towards my friends, board in hands."What happens now?" Tord said concerned.
I walk over to the front yard, and gesture my friends.
They look unsure, but they follow me anyways.
Edd closes the gate behind us and I walk them over to the car, and run inside, grabbing my keys, and run back outside, making sure to lock the door behind me.
I walk into the car and plop the board on my lap and we go off.A few minutes later...
We were all silent in the car.
Tom and Tord sat in the back, and Edd was in the passenger seat. Although Edd looked like he regret sitting next to me with that thing. He kept scooching away whenever I took a turn and he slumped sideways near me, near the board. Edd tightly clung on to his seat, trying not to move for another turn, then he cracked.
"Why did you even bring that thing?!" Edd said, not even looking at me.
"Where are we even going?!"
Edd seemed like he wanted to be angry, but I could tell by his movements that he was terrified.
"It's alright, Edd. Don't worry about it." I said calmly to Edd, not taking my eyes off the road.
"Just focus on looking outside."
Edd clung on tightly to his seat even more.
"W-What's that supposed to mean?!" Edd said, starting to stutter. I stop at a red light, and face towards Edd. Edd looks back at me and he looked worried.
I pat his hand gently.
"Calm down, you'll see. Everything will be fine." I said calmly, and put my hand back on the steering wheel after the light turned green, and I started driving again.
Edd seemed still scared, but seemed calmer. He looked like he couldn't focus on looking outside, but did anyways.
"Don't strain yourself." I teased. It was now at least thirty minutes into the drive, we were all silent.
It was going to be a long drive, and I knew that, so I turned on the radio all of a sudden.
Not a lot of music playing, and the ones that did were all static.I guess we're far out.
I sighed and left it on a news report, at least it was sound.
"Gooodmorning folks!" The man said overly excited on the radio.
"We have top story this evening! Apparently, a man named-" shhhhereeeekkkhthgtttt
Static roared through the radio, I turned it off and on and it finally stopped.
"He was a killer at the local hotel, killed two children and five adults, and stuffed one of the child's body into a bag, it was collected after some folks reported that there was a faulse priest arrived at his house acting abnormal. He was then identified by the police the same guy who murdered those children in the hotel by a confession by the murderer himself. Various witnesses at that time at the hotel described him having a bag, and a grey hoodie."...
What?!
"Did the nun know about this?" Tord asked unsettled.
"I don't know, but why would she call a fake priest?" I said defensively.
"Either way, there was a killer in our house, now it's gone." Edd tried to say calmly, but he seemed unsettled like the rest of us.The nun couldn't have known..right?
She was so nice and kind,
But now she's gone..And there's only one way to ask her now.
