Chapter 4 Surface Waves

     As we were waiting, we talked about life and our point of view on it. Finally, a giant appeared in the doorway and asked "Ready?" I said, "Yes and this is my new friend Nari Song." "Hi Nari, I'm Meraki." "Hi," Nari said he came over and gently took my hand and lead me out of the classroom. The whole time he had my hand in his hand he didn't say anything. Finally, right before we went into the lunchroom I scream "OK THAT'S ENOUGH" and snatched hand out. He grinned then I said, "Look I don't know what your deal is, but I am not in the mood for games. I don't even know you, I owe you and that's that. So if you will excuse me I am gonna go back to my friend." I could feel him watching me with those brown piercing eyes. There is something about him, I just can't figure him out.

    "Hey Nari, I am so sorry about that," I say. "So how do you know Meraki Junn, he is such a big deal here," Nari said. "Uhhhhh long story, but really, he is kinda weird to me." She laughed then took my arm and we headed to lunch. The cafeteria was so humongous I couldn't believe it. The lunch was way out of my prize zone but I felt lucky to have the one my mom packed for me. Nari and I found a spot to eat at, I looked around to see where some napkins were. I told her I would be right back, I got up then walked over. I grabbed quite a few and turned around head butting into someone's chest. I looked up soothing my head when I saw some boy with messy black hair, black eyes, pale skin, and circle glasses on. I started to blush then snapped out of it and said "I am sorry are you okay?" he said with a deep voice "Yes I'm fine, hey aren't you from class 1C?" "Yes I am, in fact, it's my first day." He smiled then said, "Cool oh by the way my name is Hwan Sok, my dad is the principal here." "REALLY WOW" I screamed he laughed, I could feel people staring at me but I did my best to brush them off. I cleared my throat then said, "My name is Eunoia Soo, my mom works at a company that I forgot the name of." We talked for a few more minutes, I really get along with him and we have a lot in common. Then I realized I left Nari and my food. "Sorry I have to go but it was nice meeting you." I said he replies with "you too we should hang out sometime oh and do you have Yuchat?" "Oh yeah this is my account name" I type it in on his phone, then I accept it. "Anyways I have to go and we should hang out, bye now!" I walked away feeling happiness running through my veins at the fact that I think I made another friend. Finally making it back to Nari I asked her how was her food? She said it was good, so then I started to eat mine. 

     The lunch bell rang and I headed for P.E. After I got dressed I headed where we were supposed to meet our teacher and saw, standing in a group Meraki, and Hwan mixed with a few other people. They are both so handsome but I try not to stare since I don't like it when people stare at me. My teacher finally comes and we are put into teams of 2 boys, and 2 girls. "Just my luck," I thought, I was put with Meraki and Hwan and some girl named Yera who kept staring at them both. I made conversation with Hwan and tried to be nice to Meraki, then I talked to Yera to see what she was like. We beat every other team in our class and won four movie tickets to the movie "Send Game". Yera and I were jumping for joy while the boys were laughing. We all decided to go together and see it on Saturday. 

     After school finally let out I saw Meraki and asked him where my bike was, he pointed at his car then his driver who was putting down. We walked over together and I took my bike, he asked if I wanted a ride I said "NO THANKS" I don't need another reason to owe him. I smiled then waved goodbye and rode off. When I finally made it home I ran upstairs finished my homework, then took a shower. By the time I got out, it was 7 pm, and my mom wouldn't be back until 10. I made my dinner, ate, cleaned up, washed my face, and brush my teeth. When I sat down I got a notification from Hwan and three friend requests from Nari, Yera, and MERAKI?!!!!! HOW DID HE FIND ME UGHH, my hand slipped and I pressed accept. "HOW DOES THAT EVEN HAPPEN WHAT IS THIS" I screamed. Hwan texted me "Hey Napkin" my faced instantly turned red and I sat on my balcony letting the cold breeze consume me. Then I texted back and so forth. By the end of the convo it was 9:30 pm so I had to end the conversation, happy for the next day at school.
