Chapter 9 Who Are You really?

                                                                            *1 week later*

      "I loved you just as much as I did the winter weather until you ran off to spring and bloomed without me. Leaving me in a bitter coldness featuring despair." I thought about that quite a lot. My friendships have grown stronger. Meraki, Hwan, Yera, and Nari are my group at school. My clique you could say. We ALL have very different personalities but we all find a perfect balance. Though I did meet another new friend at the supermarket. His name is Jae Rang, he is a "commoner" like me. To be honest, I'm not all that poor, but compare me to these rich people I attend school with and I live in a box. I finally got to introduce Jae to my clique since he got in the school by scholarship. He is in my grade and is 16. Guess that makes six of us now. Meraki and Hwan are just so dreamy. I stop myself a lot from fawning over two guys. I quit daydreaming in class then, I receive a note from Nari. "What ya thinking about?" I look over and write back "the other gender p-p" She laughs quietly then we both fall back to attention.

       The bell rang. We headed for lunch arm in arm. My mom has been pestering me about my friends coming over so when we finally are all together I ask "hey so my mom has kinda been asking me if you guys would like to come over on Saturday, it's okay if you can't?" They all stare at me than say "what's the address?" I laughed. I went deep into thought on my way home from school. "This means I have to clean the house and hide embarrassing things for tomorrow. What a bother. Should I dress decent, or bummy....decent it is." Meraki taps my shoulder signaling I am home, I thank him. "Oh before you got here," he says, then hands me a box with high heels. "Is this for that outfit you gave me?" I ask, he nods. I wave goodbye to him, then head inside. As soon as I reach my room I start cleaning. I took off the locket I ALWAYS wear that I received from M. Does he ever think about me, as I wonder about him? Pointless to ponder on thoughts such as those. I stop lolly-gagging then get to work. 

       I stay up late and stress. By the time I finished housework and my homework its 1 am. I can't sleep so I text Meraki and Hwan separately "hey you up?" Meraki answer fast but Hwan did not. I wanted to know more about him his likes, dislikes favorite things, etc. His favorite color is blue, favorite food is, sandwiches, pet peeves when someone doesn't listen to him, and he the only child. I told him more about then he says drop down the chute. I ace out to my balcony to see him with a basket of food. I smile and quietly undo the chute down. I grabbed some blankets and some pillows and we put them on. It is pretty cold outside but I am not shivering. We start to munch down the food he brought then I ask why he is still up. "I don't know, I just wanted to talk to you," he says back. He must mean in a friendship type of way, yet I still blush hard. We talk quietly and soon enough our seats were right next to each other. Almost ear to ear distance. I can smell him from here, he smells like a sunny day with flowers everywhere. I love it. By the time we knew it, we both fell asleep in each other's shoulders, sharing a blanket.
