Steve backed away from the door, his face burned and he knew he was red across the whole of his face. What were Tony and Bruce doing? He quickly walked back to the door and knocked a few more times. Finally bracing himself he spun the knob. The door opened, and again to his terror he found Bruce atop of Tony, both of them covered in sweat. Tony looked over and screamed at him.

"STEVE WHAT THE FUCK!?" He yanked the covers over himself and a shocked Bruce, frantically finding a remote to the stereo. Steve's face was bright red.

"I wanted to tell you Loki is fine for the evening, but he said he hasn't been able to sleep so I wanted to ask Bruce where we could find a sedative." He lied, Steve's blue eyes fell over Bruce who had buried his face into the pillows with shame looked up. Tears were in his eyes.

"In the infirmary, second shelf on the left cabinet. Get out Steve please." Bruce pointed towards the door and Steve quickly did as told and slammed the door shut. Bruce put his head in the area in between Tony's jawline and shoulder and cried.

"Why can we never do this Tony!?" He sobbed, Tony rolled over him and held him in his arms. For once he didn't have something to say. So, Tony laid there and let him cry his eyes out.

**Switch to Loki**

Loki still screamed, though it became quieter and quieter with each breath he took it still hurt him. He cried large tears that burned his eyes and caused him to wince and cry more when the fell over a specific injury. He felt a small prick in his arm and blackness sank into his vision as he faded out of consciousness.

Loki was still a child, he walked with his 'mother' happily. Thor and Odin had been practicing with weapons while he and Frigga were practicing magic. She gave him a loving smile as he looked longingly outside the windows at his father and brother.

"Loki darling, Loki look at me." She said soothingly and he looked back at her, his green eyes were sad. "What is the matter?"

"I want to be like Thor and Father." He said getting up from his seat and sitting in her lap. He stared at the wall as she strokes his head.

"My sweet little Loki, I hope you are never like your father." He looked up at her quickly, she put a finger to her mouth when he opened his. "Shush, let me explain," Loki closed his mouth obediently, "Thor and your Father are very stubborn, they mostly think about things in the way of fighting and speaking. You, you think things out and if there isn't a way you see you make one.

You don't have to be like either of them for me to love you anymore than I already do. I love you more than the size of Yggdrasil and all the nine realms and everything put together." She said to him.

"I love you too."

Loki woke with a start. The bindings had been taken away. It was still dark outside from the way it looked. He stood up and walked to the bathroom in the darkness and flicked on the light.

Temporarily blinded he blinked multiple times and rubbed his eyes. Finally when he was able to see he looked in the mirror.

He was covered still in blood. Small scabs covered his face and he saw yellow and purple bruises on his skin. He cringed at the terrible sight of it. He turned the light off, sickened at what he saw looking back at him.

The Frost Giant walked back to his bedroom door and turned the lights on in here. Blood and dried tear drops stained the bed. He looked at his shirt, the once fully green shirt was covered heavily with dried blood. He felt his face twist but he couldn't cry anymore.

"What in the name of hell happened to you?" Tony asked walking up to him, he gently placed a hand on Loki's shoulder. Loki spun around and backed away from him.
