Loki sat in his cage in Stark Tower. The room was intact: books in neat piles, bed made, couch pillows perfect, and the lights were bright. It was clean and comfortable, but Loki felt wrong in this neatness. Tony had set up his robot to respond to his voice whenever he needed something, and usually he tried not to use it but he wanted someone to chat with other than a vision of Frigga.
"JARVIS?" Loki's sly voice came from his mouth with an evil grin.
"Yes sir?"
"Can you send Stark down? I wish for company."
"Of course." Loki thanked him not, and sat upon his bed; holding a book in his hands delicately. He read only a few pages, but it truly didn't interest him. Far to many stories are like this. Why do the hero's only get the maiden? It's rather not fair, even the villains need somebody. He closed the book and stood up. He tossed it to the couch and began to pace slowly around his cage.
"Loki, stop pacing. You'll make circles in here." Said a soothing voice. Loki spun around to see another vision of Frigga.
"I have to stop summoning you."
"You wouldn't do that and you know it too." Loki smiled at her. "Oh how I love that smile of yours."
"Thank you." Loki said to her. "I miss you mother."
"I miss you too, Loki." Frigga said to him, "But darling, you have a guest. I must go, send me off." He frowned as he ran his left hand to her face and she vanished.
"You called Reindeer Games?" Tony asked stepping into Loki's cell from the built in door. They had sealed off the glass to prevent him from breaking something and escaping. Loki turned around at the nick-name.
Tony sported a thin, black sleeveless shirt with a blue light shining through it. Cargo pants were cut off by a pair of laced tan shoes. And a lab coat was tied around his waist tightly. His usual smug grin was gone and his lips were in a line.
"Ah yes Stark. I wanted some company."
"I should've brought Thor than."
"Oh don't lie to me. Thor isn't here."
"And how could you possibly know that?" Tony raised his dark eyebrows and opened his mouth in the shape of an 'O' as if he was feared, but in his brown eyes showed a tiny bit of concern.
"The All-father will want Thor to come back and report right after Thor had been gone, and Thor would be going to help see over the preparations of my cell. Frigga shall be all over Thor and asking about me and my well being though as you can see I am not truly in the best of shape." He was right: Loki skin was pale and littered in scars, scabs, bumps, and bruises aplenty.
"I agree with Frigga." Tony mumbled, fear creeping into him that Loki knew Thor wasn't at Stark Tower. "Ok, what do you want to talk about? Bruce and I are supposed to be working today."
"Just about something. How is the sunlight? What is it like above this ceiling?" Loki asked sitting on his couch. One arm supporting his weight, legs spread, and one hand resting around his waist. "Come sit with me Stark."
"I'm good, I'm not staying long."
"Alright then," Loki gave a great big smile at him. Tony knew that he was acting this way for a reason, "Than please answer my questions so I don't keep you for too long Stark."
"Okay, uhm," Tony cleared his throat, "Well, the sun is shining today though yesterday it poured. And upstairs is fine. Steve is doodling a bunch as usual, Natasha and Clint are sorta kinda denying and avoiding their feelings for each other, and Bruce is quiet. Anything else?"
