Note: Hello, as you've noticed I don't update often and now that I'm dealing with some bullsht (Sorry for the profanity) therapy because of my mental disorders I'm going on a temporary break. Thank you for understanding.

The classroom was boring and cold, reminding Lance of a post he read that stated time moves slower the colder it is. And this made Lance want to yell at the air conditioning, but he didn't. He decided that he would eventually just tune out his teacher and stare at the back of Hunk's head.

"Mr. McClain, please answer the question," the teacher, Ms. Pickard, drawled, and Lance's head snapped towards the woman. She had her brow raised and hands pressed together, wearing an expectant look.

"Grammar?" Lance piped, and Pickard proved she wasn't impressed when she snarled a simple 'Detention, Lance' and got back to teaching. Lance winced slightly and continued to fiddle with his fingers till he heard the sharp ring of the bell. Moving up and out of his seat, he ran to catch up to Hunk but accidentally ran into someone else instead. "Ow!"

"Woah, watch it there." Lance looked up to see a familiar girl, a very tall girl who was standing behind Acxa earlier that day. Looking at her closely, Lance say blue, borderline purple, eyes he saw a short flash of recognition in them.

"Lance, right?" She tried to confirm, and Lance nodded.

"And you are?" Lance asked, raising an eyebrow. She laughed, looking at the ceiling as she did so, and then bent down to look Lance in the eyes.

"I'm Zethrid," she cooed, before walking past Lance and out of the school doors. Lance's mouth thinned as he tried to remember the way Hunk went, and figured he was headed towards the cafeteria.

Headed towards the place of food, Keith ran up besides him looking quite flustered. His cheeks burned red and his hair was combed through, suggesting he was flustered but trying to impress. Lance paid no mind to Keith's sudden appearance— he was noticing that he never saw Lotor before, and he couldn't spot him right now. Where does he go during lunch?

"...ance. Lance!" Lance jumped at the sound of his name, looking at Keith with a bewildered look.

"What, Mullet?" Lance hissed, snapping his head towards his 'enemy.' Keith pierced his lips, swarms of thoughts flooding through his head. He finally exhaled and looked away.

"Nevermind," he muttered, staring at the door leading to the cafeteria. Eyebrow twitching in annoyance, Lance begrudgingly followed the short alpha. Right before he walked inside, he felt a chill to his right. Quickly glancing in the said direction, he was met with a whisper of uniquely colored hair and giggles. Ezor, Lance thought, automatically moving his body in that direction. That is, until someone snatched the back of his hood and pulled him in the cafeteria.

"Let go!" Lance seethed, and Keith shoved his hand away from the hood of Lance's jacket.

"You were slow," Keith stared coldly before moving towards the table where Pidge was laying on the table and Hunk sitting on the bench eating Mac n' Cheese. "Pidge, get off the table," Keith commanded, and Pidge raised a brow at the alpha.

"You aren't the boss of me," Pidge shot back, sticking her small tongue out between her lips. Keith glared at the disobedience, but put his feelings behind him for he knew they were irrational alpha instincts he could control (because, a real man can control his instincts).

Lance sat near Pidge's head and placed his packed lunch onto the table, looking across at Hunk, who continued to inhale his homemade meal. "Don't you think," Lance started, eyeing the familiar meal Hunk had in front of him, "that eating the... pasta rizada con queso (1) everyday is unhealthy?"

"Yes, very," Hunk responded, his mouth full of food and Lance winced seeing the mashed contents of his mouth as he spoke. Lance unclamped the lid on the box beholding his boliche. Hunk's eyes brightened. "What's that? Like, cuban beef?" Hunk peered over Pidge to smell the food.

"Not everything I eat is cuban," Lance defended, and Hunk smiled innocently, "but yes. It is 'cuban beef.'"

"Knew it," Hunk cheered at the same time Pidge groaned "feed me" and turned her head towards Lance and his meal. Lance stabbed a piece with his fork and held it in front of Pidge. She opened her mouth wide and lifted her head up to bite the piece off of the fork. Lance giggled as he watched her her struggle to swallow while laying down.

"So how was L Time?" Pidge asked, and Hunk's head shot up to see Lance's reaction. L Time was a time on Lance's alarm clock app set for 07:15 every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. None of his friends knew what L Time was, and only Hunk and Pidge knew it existed. Keith glanced over at the three in curiosity.

"What's L Time?" Keith asked, eyebrows furrowed.

"When Lance was with you this morning, did get a reminder of sorts on his phone at 7:15 and then leave?" Hunk asked, taking another bite into his Mac N' Cheese.

"Yes," Keith admitted, and Lance looked away guiltily. His eyes darted around the cafe to catch Acxa's eye from across the room. Face turning red as he quickly identified the position of that blind girl, Ezor, Zethrid, and Lotor, Lance turned back to his friends.

"He went away for L Time, whatever that is. So how was it?" Pidge's mouth was pressed in a thin line as she stared at Lance. Lance opened his mouth to reply to her question, when suddenly he felt an arm slung around his neck and four other people joined them at the table. "Matt!"

"Hey ya li'l fart, how's it?" Matt greeted, his arm moving to hang around Lance's waist. Lance leaned on Matt slightly as he continued to eat.

"Are you guys dating again? Did I miss something?" Pidge asked, reaching to eat some more boliche from Lance's container of food. Lance slide apples to the center of the table, and Allura immediately grabbed one. Shiro glanced at them, but didn't give in to the fruit temptations, and pulled out a Big Mac. Pidge made grabby hands.

"No, we're just comfortable with each other," Lance hissed, and Keith looked at the two, contemplating the things that he found out:

Lance and Matt used to date

Everyone knew Lance was not-straight and he feels like an idiot

Lance might like Matt again, considering Matt is definitely someone you trail off to when trying to describe him (re: chapter four);

Keith was feeling defeated, which wasn't a normal feeling for Keith to have. That's fine, Keith thought, because I don't own Lance
