ربَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَِ
Rabbana-ghfir lana dhunuubana wa israfana fi amrina wa thabbit aqdamana wansurna 'alal qawmil kafireen
Word By Word:
Rabbana: Our Lord
ghfir: forgive
lana: for us
dhunuubana: our sins
wa: and
israfana: our excesses
fi: in
amrina: our affairs
wa: and
thabbit: make firms
aqdamana: our feet
wansurna: and give us victory
'alal: over
qawmil: the people
kafireen: disbelieving
Translation: Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and anything We may have done that transgressed our duty: Establish our feet firmly, and help us against those that resist Faith [3:147]
Tafseer: And Allah loves the patient. And they said nothing but:"Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and our transgressions, establish our feet firmly, and give us victory over the disbelieving folk."
And this was the statement that they kept repeating. So, Allah gave them the return in this world and also the better rewards in the Hereafter. And Allah loves those who do good.
