This strange and foreign feeling;
Something so uncanny and new.
And yet, a thing I've always dreamt of having.
Is one I didn't expect coming from you.
I've always only opened my eyes for the outside,
Looking for distant and mysterious faces to stare at.
That I never knew what mattered was the inside.
So thank you, because you helped me realize that.
It's funny, 'cause back then we were uncertain;
Our opinions of each other were alienated,
Friends were less so than foreign.
Yet our exchanges, implied that this was fated.
Now, I have only one more thing to mention.
As you near the end, this I have to say:
Last year was the confession, 4 years next is my concession.
Oh and I love you! Hope that wasn't too cliché.
