Chapter 2

Hi there!! I'd like to thank everyone for reading my story. I honestly didn't think anyone would read it.. I'd also like to thank Michiko_chan and BleachIsMyDream for commenting!! Thank you guys!! Anyway, here is chapter 2. I don't own any of the Naruto characters. I only own Enigma!! Enjoy!!

                              Neji pov

~How long is this going to take? We are suppose to get a new team mate today. I don't really care who it is, as long as they don't get in the way...~ "I wonder what our new team mate will look like. I hope he or she is full of youth! I will have to make a good first impression!" said Lee as he was doing some push ups. "I just hope they aren't stupid. What do you think, Neji-kun?" TenTen asked me. "Hn." TenTen annoys me. I don't get why she keeps bothering me, when it's obvious that I don't like her. "Oh look!! Here comes Gai-sensei with the new student!!" yells Lee as he gets up and dusts himself off. There is a girl with Gai ~Oh great, another girl~ She has chocolate brown eyes and long, black hair that reaches to her mid back. She has bangs nearly covering her thickly lined eyes. ~She's gorgeous.. No, no. I'm Neji Hyuga. I don't look at girls. They are a distraction that I don't need. Stay focused.~ "Gai-sensei, is that the new student? Gosh, she looks so youthful!!!" yelled Lee with hearts in his eyes. ~Idiot~ Gai started to introduce himself and struck his 'nice guy' pose. The new girl had a WTF expression on her face. I almost smirked. Almost. I stopped paying attention when the others started to introduce themselves. Gai looked at me so I knew I had to introduce myself. "I'm Hyuga Neji." "My name is Uchiha Enigma" ~so she's an Uchiha..~ I felt myself glare at her. "It's nice to meet you all," she said. ~An Uchiha and a Hyuga on the same team.. This will never work out.~

                          TenTen pov

~ugh, we got a girl. Neji was looking at her! Oh hell no!! Neji is mine. She can't just waltz up here and try to take him away from me! I don't like this girl one bit..~

                           Lee pov

~Wow, Enigma-chan is beautiful!! She's even prettier than Sakura-chan!! She looks so youthful -sigh- I'll have to train extra hard to impress her!~

                          Gai pov

~An Uchiha and a Hyuga on the same team. This could get ugly...~

                        Enigma pov

"Well, now that we've introduced ourselves, we must train!! Enigma, since you are new here, I'll start you off easy. Give me 200 laps around the village!" Gai said, flashing me a shiny grin. ~WTF?! Is this guy serious?!!!!~ "He's being serious, Uchiha," mutteres the Hyuga. "Lee give me 700 laps, and don't forget your weights!! TenTen, practice your aim. Neji, when Enigma is finished with her laps, I'd like the two of you to spar. Go, my youthful students!" Gai yelled. ~Greeeeaaat, I'm stuck with the Hyuga~ I groaned inwardly. TenTen glared at me. ~Damn, who crapped in her cornflakes?? Meh, I better ge started on those laps.~

After an hour and a half, I finished my laps. I was trying to catch my breath, when i sensed someone approach behind me. "Pathetic. You've only done 200 laps and you are already tired." It was Neji. "Shut the fuck up Hyuga." I was pissed. This guy doesn't even know me and he's already pissing me off. "Hn. Hurry up. Hai wants us to spar. I will tell you now, I don't plan on holding back," grumbled Neji. (alrighty, the fight scene. I apologize if it isn't very good, I'm not the best at writing fight scenes. You have been warned!!) "Don't get your panties in a bunch, princess. I wasn't planning on holding back eithe," I said, rolling my eyes. Neji's face turned red. "Did you just call me a girl?.." he hissed. "No shit Sherlock. So are you just gonna stand there? Or are we gonna fight?" I knew I was pissing him off. ~Excellent~ I got into a fighting stance and so did he. Neji turned on his Byakugan. I threw a kunai at him, not really trying to hit him, which he easily dodjed. He ran at me and tried to punch my face. I quickly moved my head out of the way and kicked his side. This seemed to anger him and he punched my stomach. I felt tears forming in my eyes, but I didn't let them fall. It hurt like a bitch. I quickly shook it off and activated my Sharingan. I landed a puch on his chest. We kept throwing punches and kicks at each other until Gai stopped us. "Alright you two. I know you want to keep fighting in the face of your youth, but it's getting late! All of you, go home and I'll see you here at 5 am. Good night my students!"

"Enigma-chan, you were amazing! You fight as well as Neji-san! I will surely challenge you to a match! Good night Enigma-chan!" Lee did his 'nice guy' pose and ran off. ~Wow, that Lee is really something else.. The Hyuga put up a really good fight. It seems I may have competition.~ I smiled to myself and started walking to Sasuke's house. "Uchiha." I stopped and turned around. "Hm?" "It appears I underestimated you. You are pretty strong, for a girl," said Neji in an emotionless tone. ~WTF!! How dare he!!~ I stuck my tongue at him and kept walking. Immature, I know. But I was too tired to say a smartass reply.

       Neji pov

The Uchiha stuck her tongue out at me and turned back around and walk away. I felt myself blush. ~What's wrong with me?...~

Bwahahaha it seems Neji is starting to like Enigma. Should I keep Enigma oblivious to his feelings or should she start liking him? Tell me what you guys think!!
