Chapter 8

I ran to the training grounds and slammed into someone. "Sorry!!" I looked up and gasped. "Hello Enigma. It's been a while."

Enigma pov

I couldn't believe it. HE was here. "Snakie-sama!!!" I squealed as I attacked him with a hug. It was Orochimaru. He chuckled,"I've missed you too, my dear."

I know what you're thinking. What?! You like the pedo snake?! But why?! Well, to answer your questions, yes, I love Orochimaru. Why? Because he was my sensei when I first started training at 2. ((let's just say that Orochimaru left the village a bit later than in the show)) He was the only person who wasn't afraid to teach me. When I was little, I didn't have any control over my fire powers. There were times when I would literally explode and burst into flames. Because of this, many people grew to fear me. Orochimaru on the other hand, offered to be my sensei. He stayed my sensei until he left the village when I was 6. Even though he betrayed the village, I still had a deep respect and adoration for this man. He believed in me when no one else did.

I released the snake sannin. "What are you doing here?!" I asked. He gave me a sly smile. "I came to see my favorite student of course. You've grown so much, child." he said as he ruffled my hair. "Nuooooo!! My hair! I yelled, flailing around and trying to fix my now messed up hair. Orochimaru laughed. "Weren't you in a hurry to get somewhere?" he asked smirking. "Aww chiz!! I'm late!!!" I yelled. "Well then, you better get going.." Orochimaru said in a low voice. "B-but you just got here.. And I don't want to ditch you," I said with a pout," What if someone sees you??" He gave me a reassuring smile. "Don't worry about me my girl. We'll meet again. I promise. Now hurry." he said, shooing me away. "Promise?" I said holding my pinkie up. Orochimaru let out a sigh and linked his pinkie to mine. "I promise." I gave him a hug. "I truly missed you sensei. Please be careful." I whispered. I let go of him and ran off to the training grounds.

"You're late!!" boomed Gai. I bowed my head. "Gomen Gai-sensei. I overslept. I promise it won't happen again." I raised my head and saw Gai wide eyed. "A-are you alright?" he asked. I nodded. "Why do you ask?" "You're smiling. You NEVER smile or act polite!!" Gai yelled. "S-so youthful!! Kawaii!!!!" Gai attacked me with a hug and rubbed his face against mine. "Gaaaah!!! UNHAND ME YOU PEDOPHILE!!!!" I yelled, trying to squirm out of Gai's grip. "P-p-pedophile? B-but that isn't at all youthful!!!!" Gai cried out in shock. Lee anime fell. Neji was smirking and Ten Ten's jaw dropped. Gai went to his emo tree. ~Was I smiling? Huh, I guess seeing my old sensei put me in a good mood~

Orochimaru pov

I watched as Enigma ran off to her training grounds. I had missed that girl. She no longer had the face of an adorable little girl. She has grown up to be a beautiful young woman. I decided to follow Enigma.

I masked my chakra and hid in a tree so I wouldn't be noticed. Enigma ran into a clearing where her team was training. "You're late!!!" yelled a man in a green jumpsuit. ~So you're on Might Gai's team. This should be interesting~ Enigma bowed her head "Gomen Gai-sensei. I overslept. I promise it won't happen again." she said. Gai was wide eyed. "Are you alright?" he asked in shock. Enigma nodded. "Why do you ask?" she asked in confusion. "You're smiling. You never smile or act polite!!" he yelled. "So youthful!! Kawaii!!" Gai attacked Enigma with a hug. I held back a growl ~He shouldn't touch her like that. She's MINE~ "Gaaaaah!!! UNHAND ME YOU PEDOPHILE!!!!" Enigma yelled as she tried to escape Gai's arms. "P-p-pedophile? B-but that isn't at all youthful!!" Gai cried out. ~That's my girl~ I grinned. I noticed Enigma going up to a boy and giving him a hug. She gave him a kiss and started her training. ~That boy has to go~

Lee pov

Enigma looked a lot better today. It seems she made up with Sasuke. He even came to pick her up after we finished training. She seems so much happier now.

Enigma pov (3 month time skip)

I've been with Lee for about 3 months now. He is sweet and basically the perfect boyfriend, but there is a problem... I don't love him. Don't get me wrong, I really do care about Lee, but not in a way a girlfriend should. I feel like I should end it, but I don't want to hurt him. I have a date with him tonight, but I can't possibly do it right there... What should I do??

I was walking home from training. As I approached my house, I heard what sounded like muffled moaning. O.o Right when I opened the door, I witnessed an unbelievable sight. I started to nosebleed. Sasuke and Naruto were on one of the couches, half naked might I add, having a heated make out session. My keys fell out of my hand. "I kneeeeeeeeew ittttt!!!" I squealed, jumping up and down with excitement. Both boys pulled away from each other. "E-E-Enigma! I c-can explain!!" stammered Sasuke with a deep blush on his face. "Nigma, your nose is bleeding" Naruto said, handing me a tissue. "How long have you two been at it?" I asked with hearts in my eyes. I'm a perv, deal with it. "Two weeks" Naruto said with a proud smile. I squealed,"I'm so happy for you guys!!! I'd hug you, but you guys are covered in eachother's drool and that'd be weird." "Y-you're alright with this?" asked Sasuke. "Duck-Butt, I've been plotting to get you two together. But you horny bastards beat me to it!" I said laughing. Sasuke looked down,"So you knew about me?" I nodded,"I noticed a loooooong time ago. But don't worry, I love you this way." Sasuke's face lit up. "Well have fun kiddies!! I'd say use protection, but Duck-Butt can't get pregnant" I said as I ran upstairs. I heard Naruto laugh followed by a smack. I grinned.

*later* Lee pov

I was nervous. ~How should I tell her? What if she gets really mad and kills me? What if she starts to cry? I can't do this!!!!~ I knocked on Enigma's door. Sasuke opened the door. "She's on her way down." he said coldly. "Hey Lee" Enigma said as she climbed down the stairs. She looked nervous, almost as nervous as I felt. "H-hi Enigma." I said trying to stay calm. She gave me a hug. "Do you we could go outside?" Enigma asked. I nodded. Enigma sat down on the porch. ~I might as well tell her now~ "I need to tell you something" we both said at the same time. "You go ahead." we both said again. Enigma gestured for me to start talking. I looked into her eyes. "Enigma, w-we've been together for 3 wonderful months. I truly think you are an amazing girl. I love you," I saw her tense up,"b-but not in the way I should." I said looking at her hands. "Y-you want to break up with me?" she asked quietly. I nodded. "Not to sound mean, but I'm relieved to hear you say that." she said. I looked up. "Why?" I asked. "That's what I was going to tell you... Don't get me wrong, I love you too, but in more of a best friend/ brotherly kind of way."She said looking down at her hands. "So we're ending us?" I asked taking her hand in mine. "I guess so." she replied quietly, her eyes welling up with tears. I pulled her into a hug. "I'm going to miss you." I said as I stroked her hair. "Me too." she whispered. I lifted her chin and gave her one last kiss before leaving. I swear I felt my heart breaking. ~Enigma Uchiha, you were my first love. My first girlfriend. My first kiss. I will always keep you in my heart~

Enigma pov

Even though this is what I wanted, I couldn't help but feel hurt. I was greeted at the door by Sasuke. "Did something happen?" he asked as he led me to the couch. I nodded. "Lee and I broke up." I said, my voice cracking. "He broke up with you?! Wait here, I'm going to kick his ass!" Sasuke growled as he got up. I grabbed his arm. "Sasuke no! Lee and just talked about it and we both decided to end it." I pleaded. Sasuke raised an eyebrow. "Why?" he asked. I took a breath. "I was going to end it with him today. I don't love him. Lee is more like a friend to me, rather than a boyfriend. Lee said he felt the same way." I said quietly. "Oh Ariguma, I'm so sorry." Sasuke said pulling me into a hug. I felt like crying, but I couldn't. Sasuke picked me up bridal style and took me into my room. "Sleep with me please." I whispered. Sasuke chuckled, "You know I don't swing that way." I smacked his arm. "You know what I ment. Or is Naruto coming over for round two?" I asked. He blushed,"No! I'll stay with you." "Can I wear your shirt?" I asked. Sasuke's shirts were something that calmed me down. I'm not sure why. I had the same effect with Itachi's shirts. "Sure." he said taking off his shirt and handing it to me. "Arigato Duck-Butt." I said, taking off my shirt and putting his on. We laid down on my bed. Sasuke held me close to him and I slowly drifted to sleep.

*the next day* Neji pov

"Three... Months... They've... Been ... Together..." I muttered as I punched a dummy. A week or two after I met Enigma, I began to feel jealous of anyone who approached her. I grew to dispise Lee for dating her. When I saw him hug her, I wanted to beat him to a pulp. When I saw him kiss her, I wanted to push him off a cliff and watch fall to his death. That's when I realized that I had feelings for Enigma. Since that day, I've been waiting and hoping for Enigma to become mine and mine alone. But, she and Lee are still together. More than anything, I've wished Enigma to become mine. I wanted to be the cause of her happiness. My uncle, of course, wouldn't approve. But I didn't care. I wouldn't let Hisashi or anyone else get in the way...

I noticed that Enigma wasn't her usual happy self today. She seemed pretty sad. ~Where the hell is Lee? He is her boyfriend. Shouldn't he be trying to make her happy?~ I turned around and saw Lee. He looked pretty depressed himself. ~What's going on?~ I decided to confront him. "Lee, what's the matter with Enigma? Shouldn't you be over there with her? You are her boyfriend, aren't you?" I said, trying to sound like I didn't care. "We aren't together anymore." Lee said quietly. I felt my heart skip a beat. "Oh. I see." I said as I went back to training. I couldn't help but to have a smile on my face.





Awwwwww <3 damn, I felt bad about breaking Lee and Enigma up, but this is a NEJI love story sooooo I kinda had to. What did you guys think?? I need I ideas on what to write next!! Pleeeeeease help!!! Should Neji go for Enigma? Should he befriend her first? Will Lee try to help them get together? Will Ten Ten and her panda buns get in the way?
