Chapter 5

Neji pov

I watched as Enigma and Lee walked away together. ~why do I feel so angry?~ "Neji-kun, are you alright?" TenTen asks me. "I'm fine," I say as I walk the other way.

Lee pov

~I can't believe she said yes! Now's my chance...~ "Enigma-chan, would you like to go on a date? W-with me?" I felt myself blush. Enigma's eyes widened. "I uh, n-never mind. Forget I asked." "I'd love to," she said with a small smile. "I understand..." I said sadly, then realization hit me. "wait, did you just say yes?" She nods, blushing. ~YES!!! She said yes!!!~ I smiled. "G-great. I'll pick you up at 6." "Sounds good," she said. We keep walking until we reach the Uchiha compound. "Well thank you for walking me. That was really nice of you," Enigma said. "Yeah, your welcome. I was happy to do it." I replied, running the back of my neck. "Well, I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" she said. I nodded. She gave me a quick hug and went into her house. I watched until she closed the door. -does a happy dance- ~I have a date with Enigmaaaaa!!! I can't wait to tell Gai-sensei!!~

Sasuke pov

Enigma walked into the house with a big smile on her face. "What's gotten into you? You're never this... Happy," I asked. "Was I smiling? Huh, I hadn't noticed.... Oh well." she said as she skipped off to her room. ~something is definitely up with her~ I looked out the window and saw Lee leaving the compound~

Enigma pov

For some reason, I'm really looking forward to my date with Lee. He seems like a really sweet guy. I thought I'd give him a chance. Maybe things will go well with him. ~I wonder where he'll take me. Heh, he's probably off telling Gai~ I laugh and go to bed.

Lee pov

"Gai-sensei!! Gai-sensei!!" I shouted as I ran up to him. "What is it Lee? How'd it go with Enigma?" Gai asked with a wink. "I asked her out on a date." I said with a grin. "Aaaaaand?" Gai asked. "She said yes," I replied, my smile widening. "Oh Lee! Your first date!! I'm so proud of you! Where are you going to take her?" Gai asked rather loudly, earning us some looks from some villagers. I told him my plan and he smiled. "That sounds great! I'm sure she'll love it! Remember to be a perfect gentleman!!" "Hai sensei," I said with a slight bow. I ran around the village, getting everything ready for tomorrow. I was determined to win her heart.

*The next day* Enigma Pov

I woke up, feeling well rested. -yawns and looks at the alarm clock- 10:30 "Gah!! I'm late!!! Stupid alarm clock! Why didn't you wake me up!!!" I yelled. I quickly took a shower and got ready. ~Awwww chiz, Gai is gonna kill me!!!!~ I ran downstairs and headed for the door. "Hi Duck-butt!! Bye Duck-butt!!!" I yelled as I opened the door. Sasuke caught my arm. "You don't have training today. Gai came over earlier and said you could have the day off. I went to your room and turned off your alarm so you could sleep." Sasuke said as he released my arm. "Oh, thanks. I guess I'll stay home today." I went into the kitchen to find something to eat. "Why was Lee in the compound last night?" Sasuke asked from the living room. "Oh that. He walked me home." I replied as I took out some cereal. "Why." he asked with noticeable irritation in his voice. "Because he offered to walk me home and I let him. Is there a problem?" I said. "Hn." He was mad, but why? "Geez, who crapped in your cornflakes?" I asked, rolling my eyes. "He didn't have to do that. If you wanted someone to pick you up, why didn't you just tell me? Why'd it have to be him?" Sasuke asked, suddenly behind me. "Why are you so mad? What, I can't have friends now?" I said pissed off. How dare he?! Sasuke just glares at me and leaves the house. ~Dafuq??~

*later*

"What the hell am I going to wear!!!!! Aaaaaaaaaagh!!!!" I screamed into my pillow. I decided to call Naruto over. He and I had become great friends over the past few days. I feel like I've known the guy my whole life. A few minutes later, I heard a knock. I ran to the door and flung it open. "Hey Enigma-chan. What's up?" Naruto asked. "I need your help!" I yelled as I dragged him upstairs and into my room. "W-with what?" he asked as I sat him down on my bed. "I have a date today and I have no idea what to wear! Agh I feel like such a girl!!" I yelled. "You are a girl," Naruto said with a laugh. "And a date? With who?" he asked, tilting his head to the side. "Um.. Lee. Don't judge me!!! He seems really nice. He asked me last night and I thought I'd give him a chance." I said quietly. I knew I was going to get a lot of hate for agreeing to go out with Lee, I didn't care. Naruto laughed,"Bushy Brows? Really? Hahahahahaha!! Ok the hahaha, I'll help you.. Why do you have in mind?" I took out a few outfits and layer them out on my bed. Naruto looked at each outfit and pointed at one. "I like that one. Try it on," he said. "Why'd you ask me anyway? I'm a guy!!" he yelled. "Because you have good taste in clothes?" I replied as I took the outfit Naruto chose and went into the bathroom to change.

Naruto pov

~This is getting harder and harder to do. Should I just come clean about my feelings? Maybe she'd understand...~

Ooooooh mah glob!! What's Naruto gonna say to her?? Hehe, I wanna thank all of you for reading my story. I really didn't think anyone would want me to keep writing, but I guess I was wrong ^_^ I'd love it if you guys would give me feedback on my story. Comments give me inspiration!!!
