~~Bucky's POV~~

Damn. Does this girl ever stop talking.

"So as I was saying, it was just a shitty day for me." She rambled on and on. Oh, Lord, help me.

"Erm... not to interject and all, but what is your name again?" I just wanted to go home instead of walking around with this clingy girl clutching onto my arm.

She shot me a dirty look, "Julia."

"OK. Um... where are we going?" I had good hopes that she would stop and say that she had other things to do.

"To get lunch." She flirtatiously giggled and gripped onto my bicep harder. Gee.... this girl got bipolar disease or something. One minute she could be glaring angrily at me and then the next she could act all fake.

"Um... can we go back to the Wakanda palace? I mean, I really don't want to go out today and your kind of bothering my schedule." I tried to say it nicely as I could, but I had to be blunt. This girl needs to get a grip... on reality.

"No... you are going to stay here with me." She pulled me farther from the palace. What is wrong with this woman?

I mentally groaned. (Y/N) was more exciting than this.

"Let's eat here." She pulled me into a restaurant and it seemed kind of high end.

A tall waiter who seemed to tower over me came and brought us to our seats.

"Hello, Ms. Atkinson and Mr. Barnes." He clasped his hands behind his back.

"I really don't think this is a good idea." I mumbled enough for her to hear.

"Of course it is. You're just being paranoid, James." She said dismissing my idea.

"I'm always paranoid. Why did you call me James?" I asked puzzled. I haven't heard that name in nearly 90 years. It's hard to even remember that that is my name.

"Well, it's your name isn't it?" She responded.

"Um... yes, just no one has called me that in a really long time." I told her.

"If you want me to stop I will. I just want you to be happy." She said softly.

"No it's fine. I don't mind. It just came as a shock to me." I said and she kindly smiles.

"Alright then. James it is." She said, biting her lip. I found myself with the faintest trace of a smile playing on my lips. Smaller than ever, but it was still there.

"Ahem, sir and ma'am, are you with me right now?" The waiter kept clicking his pen.

"Oh , yes sorry." Julia said.

"Can I get you drinks to start with?" He asked.

"Yes. I'll have raspberry iced tea please." The waiter nodded.

"And for you, sir?" He asked me.

"Just some water." I said. He scribbled something on a small notepad and turned to leave.

"Oh, and by the way, I am Kai!"

My eyes wandered around the room and landed a table for two. Huh? It was a boy and a girl. Wow, the boys hair looked really platinum and very familiar. The boy laughed and moved out of the way revealing the face of the girl. My eyes narrowed on the pair. Pietro and (Y/N). My eyes lingered on them, not a single negative thought crossing my mind about the blonde prick. (Y/N) looked happy. That's what she deserves. If Pietro makes her happy, then that's that. He can do more more for her than I can. At least he can have a normal conversation with her without having flashbacks of things he regrets and without having mental breakdowns.
