An awkward atmosphere with a hint of silence enveloped the conference room. I looked around and saw black leathered swivel chairs along with 5 persons(3 ladies in pencil skirts and buttoned sleeves with 2 guys in suits) inside. They looked like they were having a meeting and we kinda interrupted them. I looked at the one who was seated in a bigger swivel chair at the center and saw a man in his fourties. I assume he is Mr. Hermaphroditus Bartholome. He has a serious working face and looked at us by the door. He looked at his employees.
"Meeting adjourned. Please reschedule other meetings. You may now leave." Mr. Hermaphroditus said. His employees started to get their stuff, put it in their black cases, and left.
"Daddy!" Zade said while placing a kiss in his cheek.
"So please have a seat." Mr. Hermaphroditus said. I sat down at a swivel chair beside Zade(who is beside his father). "So may I know the name of Lucille Ivory's Granddaughter?"
"My name is Cassandra Frost."
"Cassandra, your Grandma Lucy is a part of us before. She worked with my father all throughout her spy years. She was a strong and independent woman. She was my trainor when my father was still leading this agency and when I was still young. Your grandmother met her husband here in this agency. The two of them along with my mother who is her bestfriend was the greatest spy team this agency had. They were compatible. I looked up to them when I was still training because they were the most amazing people this agency had. But when your grandma Lucy and grandpa George Fletcher married they retired from this agency and they were never seen again. We located them once in San Francisco, California but your Grandpa George passed away and then you, your grandma Lucy and your mother moved away. We located your family the second time in Miami, Florida and tried to persuade your Mother countless times to join us but she never really wanted to so we just didn't try to persuade her again. You all moved away and we tried to find you for a very long time until we found out that Lucille Ivory has passed away. She is buried in Shannix Memorial Garden right?" Mr. Hermaphroditus said.
"Yes, Mr. Hermaphroditus. You are right." Zade laughed at what I said.
"Oh, don't be too formal, Cassie. Call my dad, uncle." Zade said while giving me a small smile.
"Yes, Cassandra. She is right."
"Mis... I mean Uncle. Just call me Cassie. I also have a question in mind."
"What is it, Cassie?" He looked quite intrigued at what I said.
"Why did Grandma Lucy and Grandpa George hide this big thing?"
"In this spy agency, Cassie. It is a must to keep everything a secret. During their resignation, they made an oath that they will never tell a soul about this."
"Oh that is why they never told us anything. Is this a secret spy agency?"
"Yes. Yes, it is. Any more questions?"
"Yes. Why did my Grandma die?" He was taken aback by my question but he regained his composure and cleared his throat.
"Your Grandma died saving one of my employees and also one of our missions. She knew about this one mission and she saw that this woman is almost dying in a forest where she was having her picnic by herself. She treated this woman and called an ambulance for the woman. The woman was saved and your Grandma died when their leader saw her."
"How did that happen?"
"We don't really know. All we knew about her death is a heart attack. We weren't sure about that. We haven't gathered enough.." I suddenly got frustrated. One of the spy agency's opponents killed my Grandma Lucille Ivory-Fletcher. I can't take that. I dropped my fists on the table as hard as I can get.
