Chapter 5: The Accident

The next subject was Music and the teacher was Petra. Petra arrived with a portable piano keyboard on her hand.

"Okay class, who knows how to play piano?"

Eren was about to raise his hand but Mikasa stop him.

"You don't know anything about playin it Eren,"

"Oh,"

No one volunteered. Petra remove the case and put the piano on the table, then she began to play iy.

'She's good,'

"This instrument plays gracefully if you know how to play it very well,"

'I want to play it,'

Petra discussed about the keys and the chords on the piano. Eren was staring at the piano for the whole time. He want to touch it and play it but Mikasa said he don't know about playing piano.

"Before I go I want to tell you that you can go to my music room and play some instruments there anytime you want," Petra said and she left.

Homeroom.

The students went to their lockers to put their things and go home. Eren was walking towards the stairs when heared a piano playing inside the music room.

He peek inside at it was Levi.

'The song was so familiiar to me. I can't remember how or when did I heared it, but look he was so graceful,'

"Hey Eren," Petra whispered on Eren's ear.

"Miss Pet-"

"Shhh don't shout or else Levi will noticed us,"

"What's the matter Miss Petra?"

"Nothing really. So did you come here to play some instruments?"

"Um no. I was walking towards the stairs when I heared a piano plays gracefully,"

"Is that so?"

"Yeah, and I never thought Sir Levi was good playin it,"

"Levi was good since he was still a child,"

"Really?"

"Yes. But now, he only played it once i a while,"

"Why?"

"I dont really know. Hanji just told me about it, but you can ask her, she knows Levi more than me,"

"Oi what are you two doing here?" Levi suddenly appeared. Eren and Petra suprised. "Oops I have some paper works to do. See you again Eren!" Petra said leaving the conversation. "Me too. My mother will get angry if I dont get home early," Eren said leaving too but suddenly Levi grab his arm.

"Hold on a second,"

'Not again,'

"What is it Sir?"

"Are you free on Friday night?"

"Why?"

"I want a person to talk about my problems,"

"Why?"

"You'll know it when we get there,"

"Well okay,"

"Thank you,"

Eren was lying on his bed that night.

'What is his problem? Why does he want to talk about his problems with me? I'm not that kind of  EXPERT about it,'

Eren closed his eyes and fast asleep.

*knocks on the door*

'Mom I'll get it!' The boy ran into the door to open it and it was his Ni-chan.

'Ni-chan!'

'Hey toodle-head my parents and I will go to an amusement park. Do you like to come with us?'

'Yeeessss!'

'Hey what's the comotion all about?' The little boy's mother came in.

'Mom, Mom! Ni-chan was inviting me to go to the amusement park. Can I go, can I go too?'

'I don't know,'

'Don't worry ma'am I'll take care of him,'

'Well then, I had my desicion, you can go bu promise me L that always take an eye on him okay?'

'Yes ma'am!'

The mother looked at her child and pulled his cheek.

'Waaahhh!'

'Don't make any ruckus movements or else there will be no toys from now on,'

'I promise I will  be a good boy without Momj's eyes on me!'

'Good boy! Well then I'll dress you up and go with your Ni-chan,'

'Yaaayyy!'

The boy and his Ni-chan spend all day at the amusement park, riding at the rides, watching some entertainment, buying cotton candy and playing at the arcades.

It was already night time. the staffs of the park arrange a big stage in the middle of the park with a grand piano on top.

'Ladies and gentlemen, today's big entertainment is to show one of you to play th most attractive song you can do by playing at the piano. Our judges will be held by our audience by clapping loud, if the clappings were a little we will choose another contestant. The winner will be awarded with a golden trophy. Now, who will be the bravest person who could play infront of these people?!' The host exclaimed.

'Hey Ni-chan you're good at playing at the piano. Can you do it?'

'What?! It's so embarassing,'

'Please...for me,'

'Okay. Just don't make that puppy eyes again,'

'Yaaaaayyy!'

His Ni-chan volunteered and began to play on the piano. 'Look, the boy will play the piano. Will he be the one will win our gholden trophy?' the host said. The boy played so gracefully and when his done all the audience and all the people at the park clap their hands. The host was amazed and give the golden trophy and congratulate him. Fireworks rise up on the night sky.

'Ni-chan won! Yaaaayyy!' The little boy hug his Ni-chan tightly.

'Ni-chan you play so good!'

'That because of you toodle heads,'

The boy kissed his bestfriend on the forehead.

'Congratulations son you did very well!' The parents of the boy said and hug him tightly.

After that moment they all went home. During the ride, they talk about a celebration to be held on the boy's award, but suddenly something happened. A truck was out of control and it crashed on the car where the family was.

The boy woke up and saw his friend unconsious, blood was flowing from his head.

'Eren wake up!'
