I Lived to Love You

Chapter 3

"She's awake! Mom she's awake!" I heard a familiar voice shout

"Y/n, how are you feeling?" A voice asked, my vision was still blurred but i can make up who it was

"Auntie?" I asked in a weak voice

"Oh you poor little angel" she said as tears fell down her eyes

"Couz, i was so worried" Jennie said while crying

"Mom and dad... where are they?" I asked panicking about my parents

The room fell into silence...

"Y/n... your mother and father they.... didn't make it" She said and that's when i felt my whole world crash.

"They're gone, I'm left here alone" i said and cried

Jennie came and hugged me as i cried

"It's going to be alright" she said and held her tears.

After a week of being in the hospital, i got out and temporarily moved in with Jennie and Auntie

Auntie made me stop from going to school and insisted that i should rest until my emotions recovered

"Your teacher told me that you'll still be able to go back next school year and you won't need to repeat your level" my auntie explain and i just nodded.

I haven't talked too much since the incident, i felt like a part of me was missing.

"I know it's hard to accept, but when the time comes when you need us, we will ne here for you" my aunt said and left my room

"Hey, couz" Jennie came and lean on the door frame and i just gave her a forced smile

"It drives me crazy seeing you like this" she said and sat beside me

"I'm sorry" i said and looked down

"There's no need to apologize. The funeral will take place tomorrow" she reminded me and i felt a tear escape my eyes.

"It's gonna take some time to get use to not having them with me" I said in a broken voice

"I know, but I'm sure they would be happy to see you move on with your life" She said and i smiled

"Thanks Couz" i said and she hugged me

I'm currently at the cemetery looking at my dad and mom's grave, the funeral just finished and I'm still in tears.

"I'll miss you guys" I said and turned my back and started to walk away

"Y/n, wake up" a tender voice said as i rubbed my eyes awake and sat up

"Jennie, it's still 6 in the morning for crying out loud" i said and fell back on the bed

"Come on! Solar is waiting downstairs!" She exclaimed with pure excitement and that got me up.

"Couz!" I shouted with a smile on my face

"Y/n!" She shouted and hugged me the moment i got close

"How have you been?" She asked as she pulled away from the hug

"Better now that you're here. It's been years" i exclaimed

"I know, and I'm sorry about what you've been through with your parents" she said with sadness on her face

"It's hard, but I'll get over it" i said with a small smile

"It's nice seeing you smile again" Jennie said walking down the stairs

"I figured that maybe I should move on with my life. I'm pretty sure that's what mom and dad wants" I said and gave her a reassuring smile.

"So, mind telling me what happened between you and you know" Solar asked

"Long story short, my ex-boyfriend is now with my ex-bestfriend" i said trying to not let the memory affect me

"Are you still affected?"jennie asked

"I'm... not sure" i answer looking down

"Well, if you're sure tell me cause i have somewhere i should be" Solar said and stood up from the couch

"Where are you going?" Me and Jennie asked at the same time

"Training field" she simply said and started to head for the door.

"Can we come?" I asked hoping that she'll agree

She looked back at Jennie and me and nodded with a smile

"I expect that both of you will behave" Solar said and we smiled at her

"Oh boy" she muttered and entered a room which looked like a shooting range

I was amazed at how her posture was perfect, how she hit every target with ease

The moment she got out I jumped out of my seat and begged her to teach me

She agreed and asked Jennie if she also wanted to learn and without thinking twice she said yes

"Jeonghan this is Y/n my cousin, I was hoping that you'll be able to teach her the basics" Solar talked to a guy with long silky hair

Wow, i wish my hair was as silky as his

"Y/n, shall we begin?" He asked with a smile and i nodded

4 hours had past and I got used to everything but i still needed practice. Jeonghan taught me a few self defense skills and a bit of shooting.

The day passed by and we decided to rest and head to the mall.

"Y/n, look at this it's so cute" Jennie exclaimed and showed me a dress, it was white and had some black linings. It was simple but beautiful

"Are you buying it?" I asked and she already had it in her hands

Solar then dragged me towards the shelves full of shoes and asked for my shoe size.

The rest of the day was spent with shopping and eating. Quite perfect for a girl if i do say so myself
