I Lived to Love You

Chapter 8

"Lets go, I'm starving" Taehyung exclaimed and clang to my arm

I would normally be annoyed but somehow i found it cute

"Yeah yeah stop whining you big baby" Jennie said annoyed and Taehyung pouted

"Hi, cutie" A boy said towards my direction with a flirty tone

"What do you need?" I asked with an uninterested tone

"Lets see. How about a date with you?" He asked and I just raised one eye brow

"Back off" Taehyung said with a threatening demeanour

"Make me" The boy challenged him and I saw a smug smirk form on Tae's face and in just a blink of an eye the guy was on the ground unconscious

"Okie, lets go" Taehyung playfully said and dragged me pass the guy's laying body

How bipolar can this guy be? Just a second ago he was freaking cute and the next he looked hella hot with that smirk on

Damn, i never believed in love at first sight but it looks like he's going to change that belief     

"Hey guys, I'll go ahead" I said standing up and walking out of the cafeteria

I walked towards the library when someone pulled me into a dark corridor and slammed me against the wall

"Looks like you're still the little weakling i once knew" Mina said and pulled my hair

"What the hell do you want?" I asked trying to control myself

"I want you out of this school, out of my life, and out of my sight" She said and her grip on my hair tightened

"I don't take orders from others" I said with a firm tone

"Then I'll have to force you to get lost" she said and was about to slap me when i took hold of her wrist

As soon as her grip on my hair loosened i pushed her away from me which caused her to stumble and fall

"You bitch!" She shouted as i walked away

"Atlease I'm not a slut" i answered her back and left her there finally making my way to the library

I was sitting at the very back of the school library. There were only a few students here since people my age would rather hang out at the court yard or gossip along the halls.

But i'm more of a bookworm. I was quietly reading the book in my hands titled 'Paranormalcy' written by Kiersten White

I was reading along when one line caught my attention

'There was nothing I can do and it was all my fault'

That hit me. It reminded me of the day I lost them.... my parents.....

That's when i realized....

I was the one to blame for their death...

It was my fault, I shouldn't have called

I should've been stronger but i wasn't i was weak....

If I wasn't stupid they would still be here.

I looked at that specific line...

I felt a drop of tear escape from my eye

"A penny for your thoughts" A voice said and i quick wiped the single tear on my cheek and looked up

"What?" I asked in a stern voice

"Look I'm sorr-" he started but got cut off when i slammed my book shut with force that it echoed throughout the library

"Spare it" i said and left him there

"Hey, how was the trip to the library?" Jennie asked when i walked inside our classroom

"Dramatic" i said and sat down on my seat and looked out the window

"What happened?" Taehyung asked in a soft voice which made me turn to his direction

"I got cornered my Mina and Jimin was about to apologize" I said summarizing everything

"So did you accept his apology?" Jennie asked

"No" i said and looked down at my desk

"Look couz, i know that it'll be hard to do so but you need to let go" Jennie said and gave me a smile

I looked at Taehyung and he nodded in agreement

Maybe i should learn to let go...

"So how was your first day at school?" Solar asked while on video call

Me and Jennie were on my bed squatting down infront of my laptop

"Well... it was... different" i said trying to find the right word but failed

"Can you be more specific?" She asked and before i could speak Jennie started to blabber about me and Tae

"So you already found a replacement" Solar said in a teasing voice and i felt my cheeks get warm

"Taehyung is just a friend" i said and rolled my eyes

"Friend? Really?" Jennie asked with one raised eye brow

"I swear, he's just a f-friend" I said and both of them laughed

"What?" I asked

"You're stuttering and it's adorable how you blush" Solar said still laughing

"I am not!" I said and felt my cheeks heat up

"Why are you denying it?" Jennie asked in a half laughing tone

"I'm sure it's just an infatuation, how could i like someone in just a snap of a finger?" I asked in a obvious tone

"Love works in different ways, Y/n" Solar said and Jennie just stayed silent

Speaking of love....

"So... How is Jeonghan?" I asked and that got Jennie's attention

"He's doing fine. Oh and i was informed that he enrolled at your school" Solar said and that got jennie to smile

"Looks like someone liked the news" this time i was the one teasing her

"Ohh shut it" she said and playfully smacked my arm

All three of us burst into a fit of laughter before Solar ended the call

"Hey Y/n,you think tomorrow will be better?" Jennie asked as i stood up to walk towards my desk and place the laptop there

"Hopefully, and i guess your right.... i do need to let go" i said and i saw her smile before she came and gave me a tight hug

"Your stronger than i thought" she said and pulled away

"I need to be" i replied and she gave me one final smile before going back to her bedroom
