Last night was the best night of my life. It just felt so right holding Logan in my arms. I just want to be with her every moment of every day. But I can't, I still have things to do. So once I get done telling Logan everything, I get up and go to see Finn. I want to see how he's doing. I hope he's awake, I hate seeing him like that. So I walk down to the medical bay, and ask a nurse where he is. She points to a room at the end of the quaint hallway. I go up to the door and pause. I look through the little window and see Finn just laying there, motionless. He looks like he is sleeping. There are tubes and wires connecting him to the machines around him. I take a deep breath and then push open the door. I hear the beeping of the heart monitor. He takes in deep even breaths. I pull up a chair and sit next to him. Looking at him makes me want to punch someone, anyone in the face. I sit there and watch him sleep for about five minutes when I hear the door open.  When I look up Desmond is standing at the foot of his bed.

"He looks so peaceful, doesn't he?" he says.

"Yeah. Yeah he does." I respond.

"You know I remember when he was a baby. I watched him grow up and I watched my father tell him at age eleven that he was going to Mars to infiltrate the military. My father never expected that he would make friends. My father told him that the most important thing was that he got usable information and that he blended in. I watched as my father basically ripped this kid away from his parents and trained him so that he could advance as quickly as he could. But my father never thought that someone like you would come along. When Finn told him about you my father kept an eye on you. He never realized that Finn was already friends with you. But I'm glad that he was because you're going to make a valuable asset." he tells me this so casually.

"So Finn being my friend was an assignment that he received?" I ask him.

"No. He was actually supposed to stay away from you. He wasn't even supposed to talk to you. He disobeyed an order because he wanted a friend." Desmond tells me.

"It pisses me off to see him like this." I tell him.

"Me too kiddo." he says to me.

"I wish that I could hurt the ones who did this to him." I say cooly.

"You can." Desmond says to me. I look at him. "Look, we didn't kill all of the soldiers who boarded. We have three of them in custody. We are interrogating them right now actually. How about later on I let you begin your training. The first lesson will be interrogation." he tells me.

"Sounds good." I say. He nods and then goes to walk out of the room, but turns around before opening the door, "Oh and Logan's things are being moved into your room as we speak." he says then leaves.

How the hell does he know that? I sit there and tell Finn everything that has happened since him being shot. I don't know if he can hear me or not but it feels good to be telling him these things. Once I'm done, I squeeze his hand and put the chair back into the corner of the room. As I am walking down the hallway Quintus is coming towards me. He smiles at me and then walks into Finn's room. I sigh and then go to find Logan and my siblings.

I walk to the dining portion and don't find them there. A girl about my age maybe a year or two older tells me that they went to the Recreational Centre. I walk in and Logan is holding Bray while the rest of them are playing. She looks even more gorgeous with a baby. As I'm walking up to them Logan looks over and see's me. So does Brayden and he starts making happy noises. She starts laughing and stands up switching him so he's sitting on her hip. We kiss and then sit back down.
