I plug my blow dryer into the wall & turn it on. I brush through my hair & have the blow dryer follow. Even though I have thick hair, it only takes 12 minutes for it to dry completely. My hair is now straight. I continue to brush through my hair as my mind begins to wander.
He said "I think I love you". What does he mean he thinks? Does he or does he not? I guess its a start. I'm not saying that he has to love me. But it is confusing. He thinks he loves me.
"Ready?" I hear Joseph ask
"Give me a few more minutes" I reply
He leaves the bathroom & closes the door slightly. I start to put on a thin layer of mascara but it doesn't take long for me to stab myself in the eye.
"Ouch damnit" I hear it escape from my mouth
"You okay in there babe?" Joseph asks
"Yeah..I'm fine" I sigh letting my shoulders sink down
He walks in & sees me slumping my back. He walks over & stands behind me. He brings his arms around my waist & rests his head on my shoulder. He starts to kiss my jawbone.
"Babe what's wrong" he asks in between kisses
I don't reply because I'm too scared to say it.
"Please tell me. Do you not trust me?" He says with another kiss closer to my neck
"I just..never mind" I say
"What? What's bothering you?"
"You think?" I ask
"Think what?"
"You said you think you love me" I say
He releases me & sits down on the toilet seat. He grabs my hands & looks up at me.
"I don't want to say it yet. I don't want to get your hopes up & end up not feeling how I say I do. Yes, I do like you. A lot actually. I just want this to work out" he sighs
"Joseph.."
"Yes?"
I make him stand up. He's a good 8 inches taller than me.
"I don't want you to ever feel like you have to say something to make me stay. I will always be here. If it doesn't work out, then it doesn't work out. Were only just starting" I reassure him
He smiles at me & hugs me tightly. He starts rocking back & forth.
"Thank you babe. You're the best" he says
"No you are" I reply
We let go of each other & stand hand in hand. He's everything I've ever wanted. I don't wanna mess this up.
