Josephs POV;
Soon our food comes & we begin eating. Half way into our meal we hear squeals from behind our table. Veronica stops & sets her fork down. She slowly turns around to see what's going on behind her.
"ITS HIM!! OH MY GOSH I TOLD YOU IT WAS HIM!!!!" a teenage girl says as she launches herself up from behind Veronicas chair
Im trying so hard to not laugh because I can see Veronica holding her heart to make sure it didn't jump out of her chest. Teenage girls can be pretty scary.
"Hey haha" I say
"SoMo I LOVE YOU SO MUCH IS IT POSSIBLE TO TAKE A PICTURE PLEASE?!?!" she screams
"Haha yeah sure" I say standing up
The teenage girl hands Veronica her phone & positions herself next to me. She places her hands around my waist & Veronica takes a few photos before handing the girl her phone back.
"Wait..can I have a kiss please?" she begs
I look toward Veronica for approval but she just shrugs her shoulders.
"Sure" I say bending down to kiss her cheek
The girls leave & I sit back down. Veronica is playing with her food. Moving it around with her fork while the other hand holds her head up.
"Hey what's wrong?" I ask
"Nothing"
"Babe.."
"What?" she says still not even looking up at me
What did I do wrong? We were so perfect only a few minutes ago. I don't understand..
"What's wrong? And don't give me a bullshit answer" I say reaching for her hand
"I said nothing" she says pulling her hand away
"Well there goes a perfect night together. I don't even understand why you're so upset. I'm trying to help but you're only pushing me away. I want you to tell me anything. Especially if its something that's bothering you" I say
"Joseph..let's not start" she says holding her face in her hands
"Its already been started. Just tell me" I say
"Its nothing honestly" she replies
"No bullshit! You don't go from being happy & all about me one second then pissed & not even wanting to talk to me the next" I say slamming my hands on the table
"Can you please lower your voice?" She asks
I look around & see a few people staring. I could honestly care less what these people think. I want to know what her problem is.
