Chapter 15: Morning After

I woke up next to a naked sleeping Joseph. His eyes hung low as his light snores echoed through the silent room. He still had his arms around my waist but they were wrapped around quite lazily.

The memories from last night flooded back to me. They kept replaying & I chuckled lowly to myself. I slipped out of Josephs grip & put on some underwear & a big pajama shirt. Before leaving the room, I gave him a kiss on the nose very delicately trying my hardest not to wake him up. But I failed.

"Hey where are you going?" He croaked in a very sleepy voice

"Oh did I wake you?" I asked turning around

"No I've been up. I just liked having you in my arms" he smiled

I giggled & rolled my eyes turning back around. I reached for the door nob but just before I reached it I felt strong arms snake around my waist. I jumped slightly because I was startled.

"Don't do that! You scared me!" I giggled turning around to face Joseph

"I'm sorry" he chuckled

I threw a pair of boxers over toward him & walked back over to where he was standing. After he finished putting them on I smiled at him then turned around to leave. His arms snuck around my waist again & pulled me back into the room.

He picked me up off the ground & I wrapped my legs around his waist as he supported me with his hand placed on my butt. He smiled at me before leaning in for a kiss. I quickly denied it & turned my head to the side while lightly pushing his face away with my hand.

"Heeyy" he pouted.

"What was that for? Kiss me" he said puckering his lips up again.

"Joseph no stop!" I laughed

"What why?" He asked

"You have morning breath" I giggled

"Doesn't everybody?" He chuckled before leaning in again & successfully planting his lips on mine

I pulled away from the kiss & smiled down at him. He looked up at me with his big brown eyes & gave me a cheeky smile.

"Shall I make us some breakfast?" I asked interrupting the non-awkward silence

"In a few minutes" he replied

"What? A few minutes? Why not now?" I asked

He didn't say anything else. He kept me wrapped in his arms & walked back over toward the bed. He layed me down & got in next to me. I wriggled to get back up but he came & cuddled me so that I couldn't move.

"Joseph what ar-"

"Shut up & cuddle me" he laughed

"Uuugghh" I groaned

"Please" he whined

"Fine" I giggled giving in to his pouty face

"That's what I thought" he smiled

I intertwined our legs & snuggled up into his chest. His hands found their way back around my waist. I let out a deep sigh & rested my head on his arm & nuzzled into the crook of his neck. He rested his chin on top of my head & hummed a soft melody causing my eyes to feel heavy.

I storked his chest & kissed his collarbone. He began playing with my hair. Twisting it around his fingers. Running it through his hands. He continued to hum lowly & before I knew it I was asleep again.

Sorry this is a really shit chapter but I needed to update since I haven't in so long.  It's just a filler for now. The good part is about to come I promise!
