When I woke up the next morning I decided to write in my new diary. It was empty so I wrote my first sentence:

My name is Estrella Snape. I smiled at my name and went to go study a new spell.

1. Glacius.

Point: Freezes target in mid-air.

Etymology: From Latin glacies, which means ice.

I pretended to have a wand and practiced.

"Glacius!" nothing happened. My father walked in on me practicing and smirked,

"its Glay-see-us" he corrected before walking out, I looked at him in amusement.

A while later I got bored and went to write what in y new diary, after recording down the spell I lay on my bed and began to write. I was about to start when I noticed my latest writing had disappeared and some new writing in its place.

Well hello Estrella, my name is Tom Riddle.

I stared at the page in shock, before dipping my pen in the ink for another go,

Hi Tom, is this your diary?

Yes. But you can write in it.

okay... are you a diary?

It's complex.

Okay. I have to go now but I will write later.

Wait! Where are you going?

Father is apparating us to Hogwarts. bye.

Okay, goodbye, Estrella.

I took his arm and there was a weird feeling like my guts were being pushed out of me and forced back in again. When I opened my eyes we were standing outside of Hogwarts.

I sat at my table and listened to Dumbledore give the speech. I was back for another year at Hogwarts. Yay!

The dorms were like usual but it wasn't the same without Daphne, I felt my eyes watering as I remembered she wouldn't be here for a while,

"Oh hey, Estrella!"  Pansy cried pulling me into a giant hug of which I did not return, my body stayed stiff and my expression of nothing in particular. I crawled under the silver sheets and pulled out the diary. There was already new writing from Tom:

Hi Estrella, do you happen to have anything special?

I looked at the page in confusion,

          maybe, like what?

       like a dark mark.

I dropped the diary in shock and uttered a little scream, the girls in the dorm looked at me weirdly. I didn't care all I cared about was how whoever this was knew about my dark mark.

That night I lay in bed cuddling Rapsel, he was a very close friend of mine now.
