Camp Crest

Arrival

In a few minutes the all the buses were ready to go. The buses all left the school and I waved to my mom as I aw her through the window.

" Freedom at last " I let out a sigh of relief.

I plugged in my earpiece as I listened to some tunes. A couple minutes later i fell asleep and when I woke up we arrived on the camp grounds. I let out a small yawn as I stretched my arms up.

" Everyone please exit the bus in an orderly fashion" a camp director said over the bullhorn.

In a few minutes everyone was out of their vehicles and gathered at the camp square.

" Now we would like to officially welcome all of you to another year of camp, and hope that it will be a productive one. Now as our motto Work Hard Then Play Hard, I say to all enjoy every minute of summer while your young and have fun!.

Everyone started to make cheering noises.

Now the cabins. As usual to our regular camp members the Cabin List is posted on the main notice board here at the camp square. Five individuals will be assigned to a room in a cabin. A cabin has ten rooms and two bathrooms. This year we try to mix everyone as possible so we can all socialize.

" Miss i have a questions " a boy asked holding his hand up. It was Brendon.

" What ? " the director said back,

" Are the cabins co-ed. " He said and started to laugh with his entourage.

" Ha Ha very funny. Cabins are not co-ed. "

Suddenly another director director went up to her on the stage and whispered into her ear and then she nodded to what ever she was told. " OK everyone please look at the bulletin board and find your Cabins. Camp activities will begin in a week so meet your Cabin mates and get together. There will be a slight change of plans as were used to but please cooperate and we'll work through. Your dismissed." She ended and walked off the stage conversing with the other director.

I looked at the Bulletin Board and Searched for my name. I was in Cabin B3. I looked at the other names and I saw both Jen and Chrisie but Different Cabins. Jen was in C5 and Chrisie was in A1.

I was totally alone with no one I knew in the cabin. I slowly stared to walk trying to find the cabins. When I did I saw that there was no one here. Good for me first picks. I chose the bed next to the window in the corner of the room. I sat on the bed checking my phone for any messages and I saw that Matt texted me a pic of himself. he looks so cute. Then I heard the door handle crank and four other girls stepped into the room.

No one said anything to each other. I'm guessing they don't know each other either. In a couple of minute everyone was just sitting on their beds staring in different directions. Very Awkward. I decided to break the silence. 

" Hey I'm Lola and you guys are? " I said with a fake smile.

" My names Shelly " the girl with the bed next to the door said. She had red hair and pale skin.

" I'm Danielle " another said. this one had the bed in the corner right beside mine. She sounded a little shy.

" The name's Cassie, nice to meet you all " this one had the bed in the far side of the room opposite front he one at the door

" And I guess that leaves me I'm Dominique nice to meet you all. " she said. Wow she had a beautiful smile. She has the bed in the middle of the room.

After 15 minutes of silence.

" Ok I'm gonna run to the bathroom " I said walking out of the room.

I needed some from fresh air.

I stepped outside and walked around the camp for some time. I came across the big blue lake. It is so beautiful. I could just dive in. It looks so serene and calm.

" ALL CAMPERS GO TO THE MESS HALL, ALL CAMPERS GO TO THE MESS HALL "  a voice said over the speaker phone
