I woke up again to the morning summer air, stretched and got on my way. I took a different route this time. I went in the other side of the lake to explore a bit. To my surprise a familiar guest was here.
" So is this gonna be a regular thing with you? " I asked Brendon who was throwing pebbles. He turned around and smiled. " Why are you stalking me ? " he replied.
What did he just say.
" Oh really I'm stalking you? "
" Yeah your always following me. Like yesterday after the volley ball match, you just so happened to crash into me " he continued his pebble throwing
" I was going to the bathroom! "I defended
He chucked in amusement. What's happening to me. Man up.
" And you kinda watch me every morning " he continued.
" For your information, I so happen to be a morning person and likes to get a morning walk "
" At leas t we have something in common " he smiled.
I looked away. If this is the way he plays girls, it's not going to work on me. I sat down a couple meters away from him and threw some pebbles. Frankly I was sucking and got a few laughs.
" What? " I snapped at him.
" Your doing it wrong " he got up and approached me. He crouched down behind me and put his hand on mind. " It's all in the wrist he whispered " He slowly motioned his arms with mines and released the pebble sending it across the lake.
" Like that" he whispered again. His head was right above my shoulder. I could feel his breath, so warm. No, snap out of it. I got up and brushed the sand of my skirt.
" Thanks " I said.
" Don't mention it " he stood up. He kept on staring at me. His brown eyes just piercing me. A redness grew on my cheek and I turned around.
" I gotta go " I said walking away leaving him there. I never felt so vulnerable before. What has this place done to me?

After a massive boat race in the lake, finally our cabin won an event. I went in my room and I was the only one there, so I took the moment while it lasted. I heard a beep on my phone. It was text from Stacey. Stacey was my best-friend at my old school. We still kept in touch though.
Stacey - Hi, Lola ?
Lola - What's up Stace. You have no idea how I miss you.
Stacey- I miss you too.
Lola - So what's up?
Stacey - Lola I have to tell you something.
What?
Lola - Stacey is something wrong?
Stacey - Lola Matt cheated on you.
Lola - What!
Stacey - My sister saw him with some girl, so she took a picture and sent it to me.
Stacey sent me the picture while the girls walked in.
Stacey - I am so sorry.
Lola - It's ok, it's not like its your, thanks for being a good friend.
With that text I slammed my phone down on my bed and went into an orchestra of tears. It hurt me so bad. The girls saw me and rushed over trying to comfort me. I have never been this sad in my enitre life. That little d!ck. He betrayed me. I trusted him. We kept on texting talking about a meet up and he does this. I feel like I'm some horrible reality TV show.
How could he do this to me.
