Gray watched Juvia walk away and disappear in the dark. Something didn't add up. He understood that Juvia was touched by the situation and that searching for Lost Tessera could've exhausted her so she decided to go home. But what seemed off was Juvias rufusal to walk her home.

He had often done that and she always seemed excited about it, she loved telling him all the fun things she experienced on the current day and now she just goes away? Not to mention the dangerous situation the town is in right now.

"I'm gonna head home too", Gray said and left the couple sitting on the bench. "Sure-" The Ice Mage was already following Juvias footsteps, clearly not interested to hear his friends goodbyes.

"Rude!", Lucy cried out behind him. "I should teach that icebrain some manners!" Natsu mumbled, burning up, but Gray was already being swallowed by the fog that has started to form.

''Maybe she's really tired" Gray thought to himself. "Or maybe she doesn't want to see me?"

He stopped walking. A small raindrop has fallen on his nose. Another followed and soon he found himself standing in pure rain. "Dammit, now this weather too!" he talked to himself.

A thought accured to him that maybe the rain was Juvias doing. He quickly continued his search. "What if she's sad and it had caused the rain? Or maybe she got hurt? What if Lost Tessera did something to her?"

Gray run. He ran but he couldn't spot Juvia anywhere. The rain intensifying with every second was the only hope he had of walking in the right direction. With every few steps Grays mind was going insane. Worry lurked in his heart, not knowing what to do he screamed Juvias name in despair.

Suddenly the rain stopped and he could finally recognise his surroundings. He was just out of town, tall trees cutting his way of going further. The Ice mage spun around searching for any sign of his friend.

Just then he noticed her, a stone falling off his heart. But Juvia wasn't alone, some blonde man was standing in front of her, talking. If it wasn't for the fact that Juvia had her fists in front of her, he felt like he would've understood the situation differently. He shook his head, ignoring the intrusive thoughts of jealousy.

Gray started running towards them. Just then he noticed Juvias body bending, as if falling unconsious. He made a fist and slammed it on his palm. In an instant the young male froze into a statue and Gray caught Juvia just before she touched the ground.

"Juvia!" Gray called out to wake her up but it had no effect on the unconscious girl. He quickly looked over her to examine her body. No wounds were visible and her pulse showed that everything was supposed to be alright. He stood up, raising Juvia bridal style.

Gray looked over to the frozen statue. The thorny rain drop caught his attention and he shivered. It's them. What did they want from Juvia? Why did they approach her?

Gray turned around and started to walk in the direction of the guild. For a moment he thought about taking that guy as a hostage but it seemed like these mages were not as fearful as Gray thought them to be. A simple spell was enough to immobilise this guy, so he was clearly not worth another glance.

With Gray walking off in the background, a new figure appeared out of the shadows.

Chain rattled loudly as the hooded person approached the frozen male. The mage snapped her fingers and the ice broke into pieces. The young man fell on his knees, disorientation visible on his face. Noticing who stood infront of him, he quickly lowered his head and bend into an apology.
