SO SORRY FOR THE LONG BREAK

▪ ▪ ▪

One who has read the story so far, is probably asking themself how is it, that Margaret or anyone in the dark guild hadn't found the Fairy Tail mages in the small storage room.

You see, Juvias actions created a big disturbance on the ship.

Firstly, she had escaped and locked one of Margarets children up. You'd think that the mother of this child would have been mad, but Lolli was left unharmed, so no grudge was held against that.

Not only that but the way Juvia got out impressed Margaret, "She is as clever as her father," the woman had thought to herself. However, Juvias resemblance to Jonathan only made her anger rise.

Secondly, Juvias meeting with Kyle.

After the Fairy Tail Mages and his sister Candy have left his company - he sat for a good hour just thinking.

Kyle was a sensible man. A loyal and also sensitive too. He noticed Juvias determination. The way she showed her affection for her lover. Just like Mother, she would go to extremes to protect what she loved. She also noticed that Juvia stated that she doesn't want to hurt anyone, she wants to solve all of this in peace, doesn't she?

Mother had told him that it was Juvias fault that she lost the only man she ever loved... and a possibility of a family. But what exactly happened?

His view on his mother had changed and he asked himself if Juvia really is as bad as their Mother says?

However, his thoughts about Juvias innocence quickly dissappeared as he went to the danguons where the Icemage was kept.

He did not find the mage, nor Juvia - only Candys lifeless body.

After a quick examination of her torn body, he realized that she was still faintly breathing and that someone had frozen the wounds.

"Just wait until these chains are off, I'm gonna turn you into a popsicle"

Indeed, it must've been the Icemage who had come with aide to Candy.

Kyle rose her sibling and made his way into the infirmary.

He wondered what happened to Candy and who had done it? Was it Juvia?

He was thankful for Gray though, he may be an enemy but Kyle felt like he was in his debt now.

After dropping Candy off at the infirmary, where he knew she would be proparly taken care off, he made his way to Mother. To tell her what had happened.

Lost Tesseras guild master was in her usual room with huge windows, sitting in her lonely chair.

Kyle kneed down infront of her.

"Mother. Juvia has escaped, her Friends - the Fairy Tail members - some of them have found the ship and managed to get inside. One of them almost killed Candy, she is in the infirmary now but the runes protecting the ship, now that Candy is unconsious, they're gone. What are your orders?"

"Wait." Margaret shrugged - none of this informations seemed to faze her.

"Wait? But how is-"

Margaret raised her hand to signalize Kyle to stop talking.

"Juvia is like her father. Curious. She won't leave the ship until she had find out why she is so important," Mar explained.

"But we could locate them! They can escape any moment! They almost killed Candy!" Kyle protested.

"It was Juvia who almost killed her," Margaret meant and chuckled as she noticed Kyles shocked face.

"How-"

"Oh dear child, you think I don't know what is going on on my own ship?"

She snapped her fingers and all the windows covering the walls started to shimmer. Soon the image focused and the walls turned into frames showing every room on the ship.

The corridors, the living area, the attic and even the storage room where Kyle recognized the Fairy Tail mages. The blonde from before was awake while the rest of her friends slept.

"Why had you never showed us this?" Kyle asked confused, but his confusion quickly transformed into disbelief. He balled his fists together.

"You saw Juvia killing Candy and you didn't stop her?" He looked back to his Mother with disgust.

"I saw you going into that direction so I didn't think of interfering. Unfortunatly you came too late." Margaret shrugged.

"I came just in time!" Kyle spat, "Don't you care at all that Candy was attacked?"

"That girl was not loyal, she got what she deserved." Margaret stood up.

"She wanted to free that boy for her own enjoyment, you know I don't tolerate treason!" She eyed him suspiciously, "Don't dissappoint me Kyle. Now prapare the Platform and set the ship ready to sail. We're hoing back to Lotus."

The young male balled his fists together, pushing his fingernails deeper into his skin . He knew that Candy was arrogant and had her flaws, but she was family!

He felt a lump in his throat, blocking curses that he wanted to scream at his mother. He knew that he should be thankful for her, she taught him everything. Clothed, fed him. She gave him a home, but now he was seeing her true colours.

"Yes, mother."

With greeted teeth he turned around and left the room with a satisfied Margaret.

However, under that confident facade laid a hint of doubt.

Mar had waited so long to use Juvia for the benefit of her new children, why didn't it feel right anymore?

She watched the storage room and heard the conversation Juvia and Gray shared and later learned their plan.

Juvias words had touched her in some way - the guilt she had for taking a persons life. Margaret had taken countless lives to guarantee her childrens safety and never felt guilty for that. But now something has changed. She wanted to use Juvia for the sake of her children too. Take another life like she had done so often.

Mar pulled at her iron chains, tighting her chest. She held her breath to make the feelings dissappear.

Was she doing it for her children... or out of revenge?

"You are not my real daughter, it's your fault...", she spat at Juvia through the screen and broke into it with a fist, "I have new children now!"

She took a deep breath and sat down on her chair. No surprise was visible on her face as in the morning Gray and Juvia walked into the big room.

Mar took her hood down to greet her guests - flashing them a cocky smile.
