Gray sat confused in the cell of Lost Tesseras ship. After his defeat, other members of the dark guild had appeared out of the shadows and tied him up. Securing his wrists with Magic Seals.
Worn out, all he had been able to do was watch as they take him and Juvia. They had locked them up in seperate cells, ignoring Grays insults.
The Ice mage wondered what the actual goal of the guild was if not the necklace? What did Margaret mean by saying she was never here for it in the first place.
Time passed and a young kid came.
He was there to take Gray to their guildmaster. Gray didn't fight it but he also didn't make it easier for the small one to get him up.
The boy who had come for him, couldn't have been older than fourteen years old. Gray noticed the dark guilds mark and felt bad for him. He wanted to ask the kid what he was doing in that kind of place but decided against it.
More hatred build up against Margaret, how could she meddle children into this? This boy was about Wendys age.
They reached their destination.
The boy knocked on the door and left. It swung open on his own and revealed a huge chamber. The big windows revealed that it was already evening. The orange tones from the setting sun illuminated the room.
Gray walked inside and noticed Margaret sitting on a chair, looking out of the window. She stood up and turned around to him.
Margaret watched him for a solid minute but Gray couldn't see her expression as it was covered by a hood.
Out of nowhere Gray felt a painful force on his back, letting him sink to his knees.
He gasped after the pain had disappeared. "What do you want from us?" The Ice mage finally asked.
"Particularly from you? Nothing." She shrugged.
"But you were so stubbern about Juvia, that I had to take you... for entertainment", she thought out loud, not really directing her words to him.
Gray tried to swallow the lump forming in his throat.
"What do you want?" He asked again, gritting his teeth.
Margaret chuckled.
"You know Gray," she said, "I really don't have to tell you anything. I could have you killed in an instant, but I've been watching you for a while too, so I will answer your questions." She laughed amused.
"You... have been watching... us?"
"Indeed. I had to make sure, my pray was safe."
The hood on Margarets head was covering her eyes, only leaving her mouth visible. A confident smile showing.
"Tell me Gray..." she started her speech, walking around the room. "Do you know what Blood Magic is?"
Gray looked away, annoyed at the talking. He knew he had to find out for Juvias sake though, "No."
"There is an ancient ritual. The Blood Flow Ceremony. To do it, I need a powerful mage. Your friend will be helpful in that matter." Margaret revealed her plan.
Grays body froze. Did she mean Juvia?
"What will you gain through that?" Gray asked her confused.
The dark guilds master smiled again, this time with more kindness to it.
"You have probably noticed how young some of the guild members here are", she said, "Since years I have been taking care of unwanted children, helping them grow. Thanks to Juvia, we will all gain unlimited power."
