"What have you done?", Natsu whispered not believing his own eyes.
"Lucy!" He dropped to his knees. He quickly took his scarf off and used it to stop the bleeding. Tears started streaming down his face.
"Don't just stand like that!" he screamed in the direction of his shocked friends, "Get Wendy!"
In that moment the rest of the guildmembers came downstairs. At first they didn't notice what had happened, but soon enough Lucys lifeless body and the blood on the floor gave it away.
"What happened?" People started asking questions, "Who did this?"
Juvia stood frozen. The blood dropping from her fingernails, hitting the floor was the only thing she could concentrate on, the only thing she was sure of being real in that moment.
"Juvia..." Grays look mirrored what he felt. Pure horror and confusion. Partly guilt. As he realized this must've been the necklaces doing.
It didn't take the rest long to notice who had hurt their comrade. The blood stained hand clearly pointed at the guilty girl.
All the present people who were there during the attack stood in silence, only Natsu held Lucy as Wendy used her magic to heal the wound.
Anger took over the Dragon Slayers mind and he rose quickly, ready to blow a punch at the frightened blue haired girl.
His fire was quickly extinguished by Grays ice, who had noticed Natsus intentions and had jumped in front of Juvia to defend her.
The girl couldn't fully comprehend what was going on around her, she felt like she was going to pass out.
"Get out of my way Gray! She did this!" Natsu spat in Juvias direction. "Are you listening to yourself? It's Juvia, our friend!" Gray argued.
"Our friend had already hurt Lucy once", Natsus said mentioning Juvias dark past. He quickly realized his slip in words and looked down, ashamed.
Grays face showed anger, but it soon faded. He knew Natsu didn't think like that about Juvia, he was just blinded by his grief.
"Juvia, say something for yourself!" Master Makarovs small figure had came out of the crowd and was now standing near the whole incident.
"Juvia didn't... I didn't..." She wasn't able to pluck any sentence together, something numbing her brain. She felt defenseless as tears started to stain her cheeks.
"Lock her up", said Natsu while raising Lucy and going into the direction of the infirmary. Wendy followed them, "Natsu, it's not possible that Juvia is the real threat here", the small mage tried to reason with her friend, but he ignored her.
"Master mentioned the guildmaster of the guild being from Phantom Lord." Gray heard someone whispering in the crowd. "Maybe Juvia switched sides?"
This kind of accusations made him furious. "Who said that, huh? Are you all forgetting how often Juvia had fought on our side? Did you all lose your mind?"
"But she was in Phantom Lord first, what if she decided to go back?" Another voice spoke. "What if Gajeel also wants to betray us!"
The guild quickly started throwing accusations, the two past members of the dark guild felt defenseless. Gajeel tried to say something but every word was swallowed by the mad crowd. Juvia had already sunk to the floor, sobbing in silence.
"Gajeel was the one who told us to go upstairs!"
"It is indeed weird... the bomb going off, no one was there", Lisanna said with a sad voice, not wanting to believe how it all sounded.
