Chapter 42

We've been busy the following days, unable to see each other because of schedules. Maybe it's for the best too. I find it difficult to try and avoid him. We always end up having a banter. Like now.

I kicked his shin under the table and glared at him. He tried to kick back but I already anticipated it so he didn't get to. He buldged out his eyes on me instead.

"You ok you two?" We turned to seulgi who is looking at us like she's watching a movie, munching a popcorn.

"She started it." He pointed at me like a kid

"What? What did I do?" I challenged

"You've been giving me the silent treatment." I raised a brow

"And that's your excuse to kick me?" His brows furrowed

"It was a nudge!" He slammed a fist on the table for emphasis

"And if a bruise forms, I'm gonna nudge your face too."

"You're doing it on purpose to get his attention." My ears twitched.

"And why would I do that?" Why do we have the same name? She doesn't deserve such beautiful name!

"Cause you like him." She spat, chanyeol looked over to me and tilted his head

"You must be talking about yourself." She's sticking to him like a leech

"I won't deny. Chanyeol oppa, how about we watch a movie?" She clung to his arms and looked up at him

"Ask permission from his girlfriend first." I stood up and cleared my dish

"And that would be who? You?" I turned back to her

"If it were me, you'd be ripped off from his arms already." I rolled my eyes. Seulgi laughed

"What are you laughing about?" Jackson came and ask seulgi

"They are so entertaining." She clapped her hands

"Chaeyoung-ssi." Me and the other chaeyoung turned to eunwoo. He blushed

"I mean rosé-ssi." Ha! The ither chaeyoung snubbed and turned back to chanyeol who is clearly not interested but too polite to shake her off of him. His girlfriend must have lots of patience if she's ok having someone like that leeching off her man.

"Oh I'm sorry, you were saying?" I forgot eunwoo was talking to me. He's really handsome but that's it. He doesn't pull me like he do.

"About the shoot..." we will be having a photoshoot for the variety show later and I got paired up with eunwoo.

"Yeah, what about it?" He scratched his head and showed me the concept he picked. There are different concepts and they rolled it on a piece of paper then let the guys pick.

"Intimate?" I blinked

"You can tell me of you're uncomfortable about it, chaeyoung wants to switch." I forced a smile

"No, I'm alright with this. Besides, it's purely professional." He nodded and smiled.

"I'll see you later then?" I nodded.

Chaeyoung is paired up with yoda. I don't care if his girlfriend doesn't seem to care about the girls surrounding him but what girlfriend likes that anyway? Even if she has full trust on him, she can't have any trust on the leech. So I'm just being a good citizen in making sure he's safe from the temptations.
