I am certain I know Sandra as much as Sandra knows herself. That is how I know that Zain is wasting her time. Andie loves Josh so much that other men however handsome are nothing in her eyes. Andie and Josh were the perfect couple. But he left, he left everything including school and Andie. Some say he asked for a dead year but no one knows exactly. Andie has never cried about it. I am certain Andie thinks this is all a joke. But no one knows how more serious it is than me. I need to help her accept it. It has been three months which is a very short time but I know the sooner Andie got over it, the better. Right now Andie is looking at me like she is demanding for something and I know exactly what she wants . As much as Andie didn't care for Zain, she can't help her curiosity. So Martha decides to just get it over with.

Zain is coming to see me today.

He wants to prepare a surprise birthday party for you but am not sure you want that from him so i had to tell you.

Andie looks at me worriedly and tells me that Zain has to really stop. I tell her that maybe this is a great thing since we have actually never celebrated her birthday.

I always celebrate with Josh

As usual Andie goes into her Josh denial.

He never misses my birthday. Its always me and him. That is why i don't want to make any plans.

I think this has to stop. So I tell Sandra to accept that it is over between her and Josh. He is out of the country for God's sake. Sandra tells me to mind my business because it is not me who was in a relationship with Josh, it is not me who knew Josh intimately, it is not me who was promised everything. She says one can't move on from that just because people say so. She goes ahead to say that unless Josh calls and tells her to stop, she won't.
I had never looked at it like this so I apologize to my best friend immediately. I will support her no matter how crazy her decisions her. I know she is hurting and she will hurt so the least I could do is be there for her and go with the decision I have made about Zain.
