"You will go, you will find North's staff, and you will bring it back. As he would say 'is piece of pie', " Pitch quoted North.

"What's in it for us?" Jack asked, gestureing to his friends. Pitch payed them no notice.

"Matching thrones, his and his crowns-"

"Uh, I think he means us, " Tuff stated.

"It's all about you and me, Jack. Do you enjoy watching people suffer?"

"Well, yeah. I mean, who doesn't?" Jack said nervously.

"Then get the staff! And you and I will see that and so much more! With North's staff and my scepter, I will be able to bend both good and evil to my will!" He yelled.

"Our will, " Evil Queen said as Cruella and Ludo looked at him. He quickly amended his words, muttering a little 'our will'. Then he snaped to get Jack's attention.

"And if you don't, you're grounded for the rest of your life, mister, " Pitch gives a triumphant smile. Jack made to protest, but Pitch stopped it by pretending to squish his lips. They then engaged in a staring contest. Pitch's eyes glowed a bright golden and Jack's a bright blue.

"Fine, whatever, " He said after a minute, Pitch winning the staring contest.

"I win."

"Heather!" EQ called her over. "My little evil-ette in training! You just focus on finding a prince a big castle and mother in law wing-"

"And lots and lots of mirrors!" Heather finished with her mother. She started to laugh in joy but her mother put a stop to it. She said something about wrinkles.

"Well they're not taking my Tuff because I'd miss him too much, " Cruella said. Tuff became excited at her words. Don't get your hopes up, thought Jack.

"Really?" Tuffnut asked.

"Yes! Who would touch up my roots, polish my jackets, or scrape the bunions off my feet?" She lifted her foot so Tuffnut could grab it. He held on with a look of disappointment on his face. Called it, Jack thought.

"Maybe a new school wouldn't be the worst thing.... " Tuffnut trailed off.

"Tuff they have dragons in Berk." Tuffnut immediately dropped his mothers foot.

"Oh, no. I'm not going!" He yelled. Pitch let out an exasperated sigh.

"Well, Tom isn't going either. I need her to stock my store, " Ludo said as Pitch rolled his eyes. He then turned to Tom. "So then, what did you grab?" He pulled an array of things out of his pockets, one of the items was a replica of the Wand of Mewni. Ludo dropped everything he was holding and snatched it from him.

"Dad! It's not real, " Tom said to his father. He dropped it in disappointment.

"Heather isn't going anywhere till we get rid of this unibrow, " EQ said as Heather put her hand to the space in between her eyebrows to check. Pitch had enough of this insufferable squabbling.

"What is wrong with you all?" At this, all heads turned to him. "People used to cower at the mention of our names! For twenty years I've looked for a way off this retched island! For twenty years they've robbed us of our revenge.... Revenge on Snow White and her horrid little men.... "

"Oh!" EQ yelled.

"Revenge on Moon and her army, " Pitch said to Ludo.

"I will-" He started but was stopped by Tom.

"Revenge on every sneaky Terrible Terror that escaped your grasp, " Pitch said to Cruella. She grabbed the little stuffed dragon that was pinned to her shirt and started squeaking it.

"But they didn't get the baby! They- they didn't get the baby!" She cackled. Tuff took a half step away from his mother. Pitch ignored Cruella and continued.

"And I will finally get revenge on Elinor, and her relentless little prince. Villains!" He yelled. All heads turned to him and gave their full attention. "Our day has come. Queen, give her the magic mirror." EQ did as told and handed Heather the mirror.

"This is your mirror?" Heather asked as she held the thing in her hand.

"Yes, it's not what it used to be- then again, neither are we- but it will help you find things, " EQ answered.

"Like a prince?" Heather asked as her face lit up.

"Like my waistline."

"Like the staff!" Pitch yelled again. Then he realized that Jack would need something of his. "My book, my- ahh! " He said, heading over to the fridge. Pitch opened the freezer and pulled out his spell book, motioning for Jack to come over. "It won't work here, but it will in Berk. Remember, when we were cursing kingdoms and ruining lives, " He said, thoughtfully.

"Memories, " EQ said in the same tone. Jack took the book. It's cover was black leather and a nightmare horse was etched on the front.

"And you all will be making your own.... By doing exactly as I tell you." Just then a honk was heard from outside. "It's time!" As the others went outside, Pitch pulled Jack to the side. "Remember, the future of the free world rests on your shoulders. Don't blow it." Jack nodded.

"Come back here! Tuffnut!" Cruella yelled as Tuff ran to the limo. "Ingrate." As they got in, Jack took one last glance at his father who was on the balcony. Even with the limo doors closed, they could hear their parents call out.

"Bring home the gold!"

"Bring home a dragon!"

"Bring home a prince!"

Jack found his mind wandering to the dream he'd been having of a boy with shaggy auburn hair, bright emerald eyes, and cute freckles. It was always the same scene; them sitting in a beautiful clearing with flowers scattered about on a picnic blanket. He was broken out of his thoughts by Heather messing with his hair, trying to fix it.

"Stop, I'm... Plotting, " Jack lied.

"Well it's not very attractive, " She said before licking some kind of candy.

"Not like that!" Tom yelled as Tuffnut showed him what was in his mouth. He hit him and took the candy in his hand and ate it. Jack pressed a button on a remote and a visor opened just in time to see they were heading for the bridge that was broken.

"It's a trap!" Tuff yelled. They all huddled together as the inevitable was about to happen.
