The Life of Queen Cassandra

Meet the King & Queen/The Royal Proposal

As Dominick and I rode the castle on a horse, to avoid the crowd of village, we finally made it to the castle in one piece. The castle was next to a waterfall and it's big and beautiful.

Dominick stopped the horse and got off before helping Cassandra off the horse. Cassandra slowly and careful slides off the horse until the horse gave her a fright, making her jump and fall off the horse fast.

Dominick luckily catches her in his arms before she could hit the ground. They looked at each other's eyes for a moment in a loving gazing way. "Are you alright?", he asked. "Yes.", Cassandra sighed.

"Come, I can't wait for you to meet my parents.", Dominick replied, as he escorts her into the castle. Meanwhile, King Richard and Queen Celestria were sitting on their thrones, in the throne room, when General Claudius came in.

"You majesties, your son has retuned.", General Claudius replied. When Dominick went inside, Queen Celestria got up from her throne and greet her son. "My son, you're home!", she cried, and she hugs him tight. "Hello, Mother", he sighed.

After a warmth hug from Queen Celestria, Dominick was greeted by his father. "Welcome home, son.", King Richard replied, giving Dominick a hug. "Hello, Father.", Dominick replied. Then Queen Celestria noticed Cassandra and smiled.

"Dominick, is that your true love?", Queen Celestria asked. Dominick looks behind her and smiled at his mother and father. He then walks up Cassandra and takes her hand, where he takes her up to his parents.

"Mother, Father, this is Cassandra, my true love and my future Queen.", Dominick replied, as Cassandra smiled at them.

"Cassandra, what a beautiful name, fit for a princess.", Queen Celestria replied. "Welcome to Dulcinea.", King Richard replied.

"Thank you, your majesties. You have a beautiful castle.", Cassandra replied with a smile. "Thank you.", King Richard replied.

"Come and join us for tea, we want to get to know you.", Queen Celestria replied, as she and King Richard led her and Dominick to the royal tea room.

The setting was like an English high tea, that would be served at fancy hotels. On the table, were small delicate sandwiches with assorted fillings, scones with jam and cream, mini berry tarts, mini pink macarons and of course, tea in a beautiful teapot.

As servants serve everyone some tea and some delicious delights, Cassandra slowly and gracefully sip her cup of tea, like a princess should. "Fascinating.", Queen Celestria sighed, as she saw Cassandra's royal table manners.

"I've never seen a non-princess eat like a royal.", Queen Celestria replied. "Where do you learn those royal manners from?", King Richard asked. Cassandra carefully wipes her mouth with her napkin before she could start talking. "Oh, I've been reading this book, it teaches you how to be a royal. I read it since I was a little girl, and I've been doing it every day.", Cassandra replied.

"Do you have the book?", Queen Celestria asked. "Yes, your majesty.", Cassandra replied. "Can we see it?", she asked. "Of course.", Cassandra smiled, opening her bag and pulled a big pink book filled with jewels; called "The Everything Princess Book".

Cassandra pass the book to the Queen and she takes it and opens the book and reads it with King Richard. Inside the book, where fairytale stories, princess tutorials, recipes and craft tutorials. After reading through the book, Queen Celestria closes it, and pass it back too Cassandra.

"Very impressive.", Queen Celestria replied. "You know so much of how to becoming a princess already. We're impressed.", King Richard replied. "Thank you, your majesties.", Cassandra replied. After tea, King Richard and Queen Celestria, asked one of the royal maids, Ada to take Cassandra to her royal chambers.

"Ada!", King Richard called out. Ada, a young beautiful maid came out and curtsy at him and Queen Celestria. "Cassandra, this is Ada, she'll be your lady servant.", Queen Celestria replied.

"Take Cassandra to her royal chambers.", King Richard replied. "Yes, my King.", Ada replied, before curtsying to him and takes Cassandra's bag and led her to her royal chambers.

As Ada leads her to her chambers, Cassandra looked around the castle and inside were thousands of photos of Dominick's family from generation after generation. Finally, Ada lead Cassandra into her royal chambers.

"This is your room, the King and Queen arranged it just for you.", Ada replied. Cassandra opened the doors and inside was all blue and gold - her favourite colours. "It's amazing.", Cassandra sighed.

She explored the entire room, there was a huge bed, a beautiful make-up desk, a reading chair, and huge closet, filled with beautiful royal dresses, gowns and shoes - all fit for a princess!

"I hope you enjoy your stay.", Ada replied. "Thank you, Ada.", Cassandra smiled. Ada leaves to resume her chores, whilst Cassandra enjoys her royal chambers. Meanwhile, Dominick has a private conversation with his parents.

"Mother, Father, what do you think about Cassandra? Do you think she's the one for me?", Dominick asked.

"Well, she has impressed us than we thought. She knows how to eat like a princess, she knows her royal manners.", King Richard replied. "I think that book of hers has helped her a lot.", Queen Celestria replied.

"Even though she's not even a real princess, but she knows how to act like one. So, we think she's the one for you, son. One day she'll be the perfect Queen for this kingdom.", Queen Celestria replied.

"What are you saying?", Dominick replied. "I'm trying to say is that, your father and I accept her to be the future Queen of Dulcinea.", Queen Celestria replied. "Thank you, Mother, thank you, Father. I appreciate it.", Dominick replied.

King Richard then gives Dominick a ring box, and Dominick opens it and it was a beautiful sapphire engagement. "Is that...?", Dominick asked. "It was your grandmother's.", King Richard replied. "It's beautiful.", Dominick replied.

"Your grandmother would be proud if you pass her ring to Cassandra.", Queen Celestria replied. "It's perfect, thank you.", Dominick smiled.

He then leaves to find Cassandra, whilst King Richard and Queen Celestria smiles. "Our son is growing up.", Queen Celestria cried. "He is indeed, my love.", King Richard sighed. Dominick went to look for her and bumps into Ada.

"Ada! Where's Cassandra?", he asked. "She's in her chambers, my Prince.", Ada replied. Dominick then went to her chambers and found her looking out on her balcony. "Dom!", she cried. "Hey, Cass.", Dominick replied.

"It's beautiful out here.", she sighed. Dominick joins her and look at the view of the balcony, which was the waterfall. "It is.", Dominick replied. They looked at the beautiful view for a while, until Dominick takes out the ring and kneel down before Cassandra.

"Cassandra.", Dominick replied, as he took her hand. Cassandra looks down at him and gasped in shock - he was about to propose. "Cassandra, will you do me the honour of excepting my hand in marriage and become my Queen?", Dominick asked.

In Cassandra's mind, she knew that once she has yes to Dominick's proposal, that means there's no turning back and that she must say goodbye to her old life in Los Angeles and start a new one in Dulcinea. "Yes.", Cassandra replied with a confident voice.

Dominick gets up and put on the ring on her finger. "It fits.", he sighs in relief. "It's beautiful.", Cassandra replied. Dominick kisses her and later they share the news with King Richard and Queen Celestria.

Then the royal bell rang, got everybody's attention. "His royal highness, Prince Dominick is engaged to Lady Cassandra.", the palace footman called out as villagers cheered and applauded outside the castle, as Dominick and Cassandra looked upon the people.
