After Regina turned 16 and met Edward at her birthday ball, Regina and Edward continues to hang out together, like going on horse riding and explore the markets of Dulcinea, whilst Edward stayed in Dulcinea.
A couple of days since his stay, Edward informs Dominick and Cassandra that he's proposing to Regina before he returns back to Annivia.
"I'm going to ask Regina to marry me before I return to Annivia.", Edward replied. "That's wonderful. We're very happy for both of you.", Cassandra replied.
"Thank you, your majesties.", Edward replied, as he leaves to propose to Regina. Edward finds Regina in her chambers and takes her out on a night stroll in the royal garden.
"I had an amazing time staying here and getting to know you.", Edward sighed. "Me too.", Regina smiled. They sat by the water fountain and looked at the water.
Then Edward pulls out the ring and kneels down, when Regina wasn't looking. "Regina?", Edward replied.
Regina looked at him and he opens the ring, which was a vintage ruby engagement ring. Regina gasped at the ring.
"Regina, will you do the honour of accepting my hand in marriage and become my Queen?", Edward asked. "Yes.", Regina sighed. Edward put the ring on and kisses her passionately.
Dominick and Cassandra witnessed the proposal upon their balcony and they smiled at each other with joy. "That's my princess.", Dominick sighed.
Cassandra then looked at him. "Don't you mean our princess?", she asked. "Yes, my love. Our princess.", Dominick sighed.
