As one year went by, things got worse, as Cassandra's illness had weakened her even more. On a late night, Cassandra tells Dominick and her family that she's dying.

On her bedside, Cassandra gave each twin of her own possessions. "Tommy, my grandson. Take my sword, it will help you to defend yourself from farm and be the man I want you to be.", Cassandra sighed. "Yes, Grandma. I will.", Tom cried, holding the sword in his hands.

Then Lora came next. "Lora, my sweet granddaughter. Take my bow, you will be an amazing shooter, like I was and like your mother, and promise me that you'll be the Queen that your future kingdom needs.", Cassandra sighed.

"I promise, Grandma.", Lora cried, holding the bow in her hands. "Regina, my daughter. Promise me that you will take care of your children, and your father for me.", Cassandra whispered.

"Yes, Mother. I will.", Regina cried. "Edward, promise that you'll look after my daughter and your children.", Cassandra replied. "Yes, I promise.", Edward sighed.

Then Cassandra went to Dominick, her one true love for life. "Dominick.", she sighed. "Yes, Cass, I'm here.", Dominick sighed. "Promise me that you rule this kingdom and look after the people during my absence.", Cassandra cried.

"I can't do it without you, I need you.", Dominick cried, as tears roll down his eyes. "Dominick, my love. Sometimes, you have to do it without me.", Cassandra sighed, as a tear fell on her cheek.

Dominick then starts to cry even more. "No, please. Cassandra!", Dominick begged, as he refuse to let her go. "You have to let me go.", Cassandra sighed. Dominick had no choice, but to let her go.

"I love you and I'll always be with you, no matter what.", Cassandra sighed. "I love you too and one day I'll see you again.", Dominick sighed. Cassandra nods gently. "Yes.", she sighed.

They had a forehead moment before Cassandra asked him a request one last time. "Kiss me.", she sighed.

Dominick granted her request and kisses her one last time. "Goodbye, my love.", Dominick whispered. Cassandra smiled and looked at him as she cries.

"Goodbye, my sweet Dominick.", she sighed, as she closed her eyes and took one last breath, and dies peacefully in front of her love.

Dominick then cries harder, so did Regina, who embraces her father, and so did Tom and Lora, who cried in their father's arms.

That early morning, General Claudius announce the entire kingdom and village of the death of the Queen.

Dominick sat on his throne next to Cassandra's empty throne and gives General Claudius the signal. "The Queen is dead!", General Claudius called out, as royal knights were sadden.

"Long live the King!", General Claudius called out. Then the knights started chanting. "Long live the King, long live the King, long live the king!", they chanted.

Dominick looked upon his knights and kingdom with tears in his eyes as he looked at them proud as a true King.

Then a funeral was held and Cassandra was buried at her favourite spot, the mountain near the cliff, behind the castle.
