Phenix
Phenix sat with his legs crossed on the desk table, a book in one hand. A lesser demon was pinned against the wall several feet in the air. Although seeing the pitiful creature was difficult as both it and the wall were a blood red colour one that Phenix found very appealing.
Using his powers Phenix had levitated a dagger to stop in front of the demon, every once in a while he would move his hand, moving the dagger too. Sometimes closer then the demon wished but Phenix didn't pay attention to the whimpers. The book was very interesting, which told him that his life had become very dull. Never had he voluntarily picked up a book or any other form reading material expect a contract. Reading was for the weak minded that could accept their own lives.
"My lord." The demon called, which brought a smirk to his lips. He loved it when they bowed down to him. He was the leader of three of the twelve demon realms and if the gods were on his side he'd soon rule them all. When that happened he would command every full blooded demon and they would not be able to refute him.
His afterlife was prefect.
"Did I ask to hear your voice?" He sneered. The demon shook which made his body sway from side to side. Phenix raised his eyebrow as he changed into his demon form. His jet black hair turned a deep red, lengthening several inches to lay just below his shoulders. His eyes turned silver, yet the original black remained, it created an under worldly look which was just what he was. His pale skin didn't not change yet symbols and pattern adorned his skin. Tribal marking materialised on his face, giving the impression of him returning from a kill. His prefect teeth warped into fangs, ones that wanted to tear flesh. His fingernails lengthened and grew sharper, one of which he used to slice open the demon's throat. He laughed a hollow sound as blood began to fall and the wound began to close.
Damn. He should have made a deeper cut. So he did, this time down the front of his chest. Then he manifested flames and rubbed it into the wound earning an appreciated scream from the demon. It placated what pain he had felt that morning, that had cut deep. If he ever felt that again the person that caused would be soul less forever, he'd make sure of it. Nothing irked him more than that, hence why the demon hanging from the ceiling. "What were you doing to say?" He asked happily, which seemed to frighten the creature.
"There's info you might want to hear, let me go and I will talk."
"The words of a Syr mean nothing." He barked out the demon swear before he could control his tongue. It was only after the word left that he realised he wouldn't have to bear a punishment. It was a strange world.
"It's about Teodor." he demon sputtered out which surprised Phenix so much he released his demon form. Returning back too his human guise he walked away from the demon and sat back on his chair, resuming his previous position. "He's back." The demon spoke with unrivalled glee.
Phenix grabbed the glass bubble from his desk and threw it where the demon hung. It shattered on contact with the wall, shard entering the demon's flesh. That would teach it to mess with its lord and master. Yet it wouldn't stop smiling, something that unnerved Phenix. Watching the demon with new interest he smiled a terrible smile, one that brought disaster to the mortal plains. In seconds the demon caught fire, it's leathery skin began the burn and shrink upon it's bones. Anyone else would flee from the sight and smell yet Phenix stayed exactly where he was taking delight in his handy work.
