I woke up in a hospital. I sat up grabbing my head. I looked around. I see a guy sleeping.
I was about to call the nurse but he woke up.
"Hey. How are you feeling?"
"Who are you?"
"Dallas. Cameron Dallas."
His name sound familiar. But maybe there hundreds of Dallas'.
"I'm Sierra's brother."
"Wait. As in my bestfriend? Sierra?"
"Yeah."
I looked down.
"Does she know I'm here?"
"Yeah. She's in the cafeteria getting something to eat."
"Okay."
It was awkward just sitting there. Cameron was on his phone on whatever app he was on. I saw Sierra walked in.
"Hey! Your finally up. You've been out for days!"
"Really? How long?"
"Three."
"Wow."
"Yeah. Doctor says you were dehydrated. And haven't ate for days."
I looked at my wrist.
"Emma. Why didn't you tell me you cut your wrist?"
I shrugged.
"I guess it didn't mean to me that you didn't have to know."
"I understand."
I shook my head.
"Did my mom come and stop by?"
Sierra shook her head no.
"Of course not."
Sierra's phone went off.
"That's weird. Your mom texted me."
"What she say?"
"To tell you that she's on her way."
"I don't wanna see her."
"What?"
"I don't wanna see her." I said looking away.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes." Trying to fight back the tears. Sierra sat by me.
"Hey Cameron. Can you give us a minute?"
He nodded his head. Then walked out.
"Look. I want you to stay with me for a while."
"Really?"
"Yes. I think you'd be better off staying with us and take a break from your mom."
"Thank you so much Sierra!" I cried in her lap. She was right. I needed a break from my mom.
"Okay. The doctor says you'll be able to leave tomorrow. They just need to run a few more tests and your good."
"Okay." I laid back down and dose off to sleep. The last person I saw was Cameron smiling at me.

I woke up happy to be out of the hospital and ready to be with Sierra. The doctor told me to drink more water and eat healthier. I guess a candy bar isn't enough for the day. I got up and dressed myself for the day.
"Hey. Your up." I turned around and see Cameron standing there.
"Where's Sierra?"
"Oh. She said she was sorry for not making it here. She got held back at her job."
