Chapter 25 Promotion Season Part2

Seth's POV: it's the day after my birthday and yet I wake up early like always and walk downstairs the others of the team are still asleep. I just make myself a quick but hearty breakfast and eat it all quickly. I then go up to my room and change into some simple clothes I didn't mind getting messy in. I grab the boxes Aaron delivered stacking them in my arms and just use my magic to levitate the bottles of liquid dye. I then carefully bring everything out to the backyard of the guild. Once outside I gently unwrap the wigs and then carefully open the bottles of dye, I then use my magic to make balls of boiling hot water. I toss the wigs into the boiling water balls along with the dyes. Once I gave the balls a good swirling I left them to sit and absorb for a few hours.

Around lunch time while the team was gone I return to my wigs and glove up with some left over dye, adding it in where I wanted on the wigs as I run my gloved fingers thru the fake fibers. I then let it sit again for a few more hours. It's now close to dinner time and the team is running late so I just go check on my wigs pouring a lot of magic water onto them till the water coming off them runs clear. I just sit the wig heads on my dorms balcony and levitate the wet wigs out of the water and onto the foam heads so they can all dry overnight. Once my team finally returned I tell them that I'm gonna go wash up first as some of the wig dye got on my arms, After a soak in the guys bath I just get into some decent clothing and go eat with my team.

Gray's POV: It's the next morning and I see Seth hasn't left his room yet. I knock on his door to check on him. "Yes!" Seth cry's out. "It's Gray I noticed you didn't come to breakfast is everything alright?" I say from the hallway. "Yes yes I'm fine I'm just busy brushing out my wigs and styling them." Came the reply. "Oh okay then well I guess we will catch you later." I say as I walk away from the door. While out on jobs I start to wonder what Seth could possibly need wigs for, I eventually get fed up with working and decide to go back to the guild and check on him. "Oh seems someone can't keep another certain someone off their mind." Happy says before covering his mouth with his paws and giggling. I just groan in annoyance before leaving my friends behind.

Once back at the guild I go to his door and knock and get a response. "Come in if you want I'm busy with finishing my long wigs." I just hesitantly open his door and see Seth was correct he was working on long wigs the one he currently had his hands on was a deep blue violet with an ombré lilac on the bangs and the ends of the wig. The other long wigs he had were colored to resemble a peacock and the aurora borealis. I just silently close his door and sit on his bed while I watch him work. Eventually he finishes all the long wigs and puts them on their foam heads. He then finally turns around and is somewhat surprised I'd be sitting on his bed.

"While I was working I couldn't stop feeling like I should check on you." I say as I look at him. "Oh well I'm fine but it's kinda sweet of you to be concerned, I'm just glad at how all the wigs came out." He says with a smile. "So what's the reason for the wigs?" I ask with a brow raised. "Well you know I have that track record with sorcerer weekly and so I have a big fan base able to spot me easily anywhere I go and I just wanna avoid that at times so that's why I have these wigs." He says with his normal smile.

I just look through his collection of wigs 3 short 3 long, the long have ponytail braids he then cuts them off and then re-attaches them to the matching wigs in various ways to make 6 short wigs. The aurora braid as a headband, the peacock braids as bangs and the lilac braid wrapped around as the bottom. The other short wigs he had wrapped the bottoms round the side of his neck and curled the bangs into an upside down heart, one was colored to look like a sunset another like strawberry lemonade and the last one was a basic hazelnut brown. I just smile at how happy he seems as he is styling them. As I just watch from behind him I can't help but notice he has quite a plump ass when in tight shorts.

After he finishes his wigs we grab lunch together and then go work on some more jobs just the two of us. I just crack a grin as I see him enjoying working together and just the fact that he can enjoy working without much restrictions. Eventually we finish our work and decide to head back to the guild but as we're walking Seth starts to lag behind and look unwell so I quickly hurry back to him and as soon as I touch his shoulder he vanishes, It wasn't till I heard his laugh behind me that I realized he fooled me to slip into shadows to get ahead of me and race me to the guild so I run after him furious but he just laughs as he runs ahead of me with his arms waving in the air.

Eventually we make it back to the guild and we are there before our team so he says he's going to contact Antonio for input on what wig he should wear to dinner tonight. "Well I'd say the ombré especially if you treat the bangs like u did the bottom of the wig and do a horizontal braid or even the aurora for all it's pretty colors separated by that braided headband of midnight sky." I say as I speak my mind without being asked.

Seth's POV: I was just told by Gray what wigs he'd suggest I wear and so now I'm talking with Antonio about it and he can see how I blush when I bring up Gray's suggestions. "Well try them on and I will give you my input" my childhood friend says kindly via com lakrama, I then slide on the caps and then the aurora wig first as I didn't have to do anything new to it.

As I'm showing it from a side view I work on braiding the ombré bangs, Once finished I swap wigs and pose a little with the ombré wig on while in my outfit. "What one do u feel speaks to u the most when it comes to your outfit." Antonio says to me curiously. "I definitely like the aurora but the double braided ombré is interesting and gives me a old roman vibe." I say as I look at the side by side.

"Well I don't think the dinner is gonna be toga themed so maybe add some soft wave to the other wig to make it more like what it's based on." Antonio replies. I do as he says and add some soft waves down the hair and just do a wavy side swoop with the bangs. "It's perfect it has the flowy feel of the theme and the bangs are swept to one side and the braid is still a headband making the wig blend with the outfit thanks dude catch you later." I say gleefully as I end the call and hurry out my room.

I then show up to the restaurant and sit by Gray who seems to crack a grin at me so I just feel good about it I even have my glasses off to give me a different look to surprise the rest of the guild mates. "I'm sorry but that seat is reserved for one of our guild members." Erza says as she looks at me. "Well isn't that sweet of you almost as sweet as the frosting on the cake last night." I say as I put my glasses on in front of her.

Gray just laughs so hard and loud he ends up flinging his head backwards and banging his hand on the table while using the other hand to pull off my wig and the wig caps underneath it in one go setting my real hair free, Erza looks unamused while everyone else is joyfully laughing. Eventually after dinner we all head back to the guild and I walk by Gray's side but at some distance and I just look straight ahead rather then look at him, Once at our dorm rooms and after a hot bath I just lay on my bed and write a little in my diary before going to sleep.
