Boom!

Virgil, Roman, Logan, and Patton awoke to a loud ‘boom’. They looked around and found themselves in a dark room. They looked at each other for answers but found each of them knew the same things. They didn’t know where they were.

Roman was the first stand, the others followed along. Roman walked forward but couldn’t walk more than 2 feet before bumping into something invisible. Logan and Patton started to panic. Patton was banging on the invisible forcefield while Logan was trying to keep his cool and gently pressed against it. Virgil stayed in the center standing. He knew this trick all to well.

Virgil hit against the glass as hard as he could. His hadn’t realized his hands went numb until he quit. He was scared, he didn’t want to be in here.

”Come now Virgil, can you please quiet down Doll. The noise is giving me a headache.” Deceit has emerged from the darkness, walking with ease inside the forcefield, a yellow gleam in his ‘snake eye’.

Virgil couldn’t speak. He was shaking and couldn’t breath. Virgil just stared mindlessly into Deceit’s eye and stopped shaking. Back when he loved Deceit, the yellow glow was calming to him. His breathing calmed, and he was able to form words.

”Please Dee. Let me out of here.” Virgil’s voice was full of fear.

”Virgil, sweetie, I’ll let you out. Once you answer this question.”

Vigil nodded vigorously. He wanted so desperately to get out. He would answer any question with one hundred percent honesty.

”Do you wish to be a... ‘light side?’”

Except that one.

Virgil and Deceit were seen as ‘dark sides’. If anything bad happened, it would be blamed on them. Even if they were in no way related to the incident. Virgil had always wished to be a light side. To not be blamed for everything. To be loved by more than just one person.

”N-N- yes.”

Vigil was shocked by the words that had came out of his mouth. He wanted so desperately to say no. Why had he said yes? Why!? He couldn’t help but think Deceit had something to do with it. Somehow.

Deceit looked down on him with disgust. Deceit hated light sides. He hated them with every fiber in his being. Now, his boyfriend just admitted to wanting to be one.

The forcefield dropped, and Virgil ran to Deceit to hug him but was pushed away. Deceit wanted revenge.

After that, Virgil worked hard to gain the others trust. To be loved by them. Now, that he succeeded, Deceit took this opportunity to make Virgil’s Year’s of effort worthless. This could ruin everything he had worked so hard for. And Virgil knew that.
