Chapter Eight

Austin’s POV

“Oh my god,” I said out loud. “How could I not know about this?”

“Austin, I know your shocked and all but really, how did you not see them?”, Alex asked.

“I turned off all the notifications from everyone except for the people I follow sometimes…”, my voice trailed off.

“Dude, what are you going to do?”, Zach asked.

I sighed. “I honestly don’t know.”

“Well, you got to think fast man. We leave for tour soon,” Robert said.

“And by soon, he means tomorrow, Austin”, Dave said.

Wait, Dave?! When the hell did he get here?

Alice’s POV

After a long talk with my aunt, we got back to cooking. About twenty minutes later, we called the boys down for dinner.

“Alright guys, dig in!” Aunt Maggie said.

We ate our spaghetti and meatballs in silence until I spoke up. “So, um, I have some news. And I don’t know how you guys are going to take it…”

Everyone looked at me with a questioning look.

“I’m going on tour with the boys!” I threw my hands up in the air and smiled really big.

Austin, Alex, Zach, Robert, and even Dave were cheering. My aunt and uncle sat there and smiled.

“Dude, this tour is going to be epic!” Robert said.

“Hell yeah it is! We have a new member joining us!” Dave smiled.

My aunt cleared her throat. “As much as I hate to kill the mood, we have to finish eating so Alice can pack and you all can sleep.”

“Oh, don’t worry Aunt Maggie, we’ll help her,” Alex said.

We quickly ate our food before rushing upstairs to my room to start packing. I grabbed three suitcases from inside my closet and placed them on my bed.

“Well boys, I’ve never been on a tour before so help me out here. What kind of clothes do I need?” I asked the four boys standing in front of me.

Austin spoke up. “You need clothes that will last for at least six months. That’s how long the tour is. If you need to, you can always go shopping for other clothes.”

“Okay. So it’s just starting to be spring so I guess I’ll bring shorts and dresses and tank tops and all that stuff for both spring and summer? And stuff like long selves and jackets in case it gets cold…?”
