"PISS OFF WILL YOU!" I shouted at Sirius, as he continued to make Kylie feel uncomfortable. He had been making continuous snide comments and throwing dirty looks at her all throughout the lesson, leading up to this point and I'd had enough.
"MISS LUPIN! OUT!" I scurried out of my seat and out the door immediately, hearing the shrill tone of Professor McGonagall's voice. What can I say? I had a short temper and an even shorter amount of patience for Sirius' childish antics. Not that I was bothered, there was only ten minutes of the lesson left.

I escaped McGonagall's office that afternoon, feeling irritated and slightly drained, that was until I saw Kylie holding a chocolate frog and a cup of coffee for me and grinned. "I'd give you my heart if it wasn't already as black as my soul," I giggled, taking the coffee and chocolate frog. Kylie laughed, "Its fine, I stole it from the kitchens anyway," she shrugged, as we started walking to the lake to meet the boys.
"So ... what's going on between you and dog breath?" Kylie asked, looking mildly interested. "Nothing, why do you ask?" I looked at her confused. She shook her head and laughed, "We all see it you know, the way you two are with each other. You should tell him how you feel." Kylie grinned as she nudged me playfully, as I myself blushed a deep scarlet. "I don't know what you mean, he's my best friend, and you're my best friend and just because I turn a blind eye when he picks on those slime balls you call friends, doesn't mean he can do it to you too." I fumed, sipping my coffee as we strolled along the corridors of the castle. Kylie rolled her eyes,"You know I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about you liking him, and him liking you. When are you two going to admit it?" I scowled. "I do not like Sirius. He's a cheat, a player and a heartbreaker and you know it. I'll see you after lessons, I have to go keep an eye on those idiots." I muttered, walking into the great hall for lunch, as Kylie grinned like a Cheshire cat, stalking over to the slytherin table while I settled in between James and Sirius at the Gryffindor table.
"So, what were you and lady creeps talking about?" Sirius grinned, throwing an arm around my shoulder. "Stop calling her that, and nothing, we talked about nothing okay." I snapped, grabbing a chicken leg. James took this as an opportunity to also annoy me, clearly, as he also threw his arm around my shoulder. "It didn't look like nothing, from how much you're blushing I'd say you were talking about a crush," he grinned evilly, leaning closer and dropping his voice to barely a whisper, "I'd say you were talking about your crush on a certain friend of your brother's." He winked. I gasped and inhaled my chicken, choking on it. James burst into the loudest, most annoying, explosive laughter anyone could see as Sirius patted my back, looking at me and James confused.
I decided I hated my face as it turned more and more red. "I have no idea what you're talking about, but if I did I'd advise you to close your mouth before I break your jaw Jimmy dearest." I smiled sweetly, pushing the plate away and moved my hand towards my wand.
James just grinned. "Well, I think it's time for us to have a talk Cass, don't you?" he patted my back laughing. Sirius frowned, "What's going on here? What does Cassie have to talk to you about and not me?" James laughed even harder. "Nothing mate, I'll tell you when you're ready to hear it." Sirius frowned more, thinking harder, "but I don't understand, James, Cass just tell me." He pouted, those big grey eyes shining at me sadly.
I jumped up "Okay I think you've said enough now. See you later padfoot." I grabbed James by the ear, "Bad prongs." I growled, dragging him out of the great hall by his ear and to the shrieking shack.
