If only you looked past the smiles, the laughs, and looked within. If only you would see past just looking at the fake me. You'd see everything was put on. Just for show. You'd look into my eyes an see that the me you've come to know so well. Is gone. You'd see its disappeared. And I'm left behind. Stuck at rock bottom. My all time low.
If only you'd reach into the deep blue sea water and pull me out. Unlatch the anchor holding me down and pull me up. If only you would hold me there. Keeping the anchor from plummeting me back. Down to the bottom.
If only I could touch the sky, give into my dreams and not the nightmares. Leave the nightmares behind with my anchor. Because we were all taught that Jack and the Beanstalk reached beyond the clouds. There are footsteps on the moon. Stars live in the galaxy. If only I wasn't still at the bottom. Below sea level.
At my all time low.
