I turn the pages and skim the words lying there, hoping that I'll never have to go back, but instead I will discover more universes and worlds and realms in these novels filled with words I crave, because they make me feel like I can slip away and leave the world behind. I can experience everything, every feeling, every romance, every drama, every death, every life, every horror, happiness, sadness... everything. and when I close these worlds and step out into mine, maybe I'm disappointed, not with the content that displays in this life, but because I'm no longer in control.
