-Ochaco's POV-

After me and Eri got to know each other better, she would come visit me every day. However, we made the depressing scenery turn into a bright, happy place for us. We would tell each other funny stories, jokes, stuff about us... stuff like that. It made me feel complete and loved again. A feeling I haven't felt in a long time. Well, what feels like a long time.

What I'm trying to say is, whenever I was with Deku, he made me feel something I've never felt before. My heart would pound out of my chest, and my face would become hot. I'd stutter, and run away when I got flustered. The feelings were overwhelming, and I didn't feel in control of myself.

After not being able to put up with the thoughts I'd kept in a jar I hadn't leaked open yet, not even a small drop, I decided to open up the jar and let the confetti fly out of its place. I told Eri about my crush.

"Hey Eri..." I started, already feeling the opposite of confident.

"Yeah?"

"Do you know what a c-crush is...?"

"Sorta... isn't it someone you fall in love with?"

"That's correct, actually..." I slowly inhaled, preparing to tell Eri the huge secret is kept for lord knows how long. "The reason why I asked you that is... because... I actually have a crush on a boy."

"Really?!" Her eyes shimmered in excitement.

"Yeah. His name is Izuku Midoriya, but I call him Deku." She raised an eyebrow, her mood taking a 180.

"Deku?! Doesn't that mean 'good for nothing'? Isn't that mean?" I became a little shocked, realizing I hadn't explained to her how the whole thing of me calling Izuku "Deku" occurred.

"Well, I call him that because that was a nickname his bully used, and when we first met, he told me about it. Then, I said it gave me a 'you can do it' vibe, so yeah." Her expression explained everything going on in her head, she didn't even need to say anything. However, she still gasped, and extending "Oh" following behind it.

"That makes a lot more sense now..." We both randomly stopped talking, until she started a conversation. "Why do you like him?"

"Well, he's so sweet and caring. He's very selfless and heroic, and will put his life on the line for anyone in need. He's intelligent, and very handsome. His eyes sparkle in the light, and his voice is filled with determination. He works so hard and wants to accomplish all of his goals. He-" I was interrupted by innocent, high-pitched giggling.

"You're rambling..." She smirked, and I blushed lightly.

"Oh, don't embarrass me..." I covered my face with my delicate, minuscule hands. My quirk ended up being activated, and I started floating all around the room. Eri held back the urge to laugh, which was almost impossible for the girl who hadn't been entertained better than that for over a year. Eventually, I made myself stop floating as I became nauseous.

"How can you make yourself float?" She giggled in between her saying words.

"It's my quirk, which is zero gravity. If I touch anything at all with all five of my fingertips, I can make the object float. However, after a while I become nauseous and if I overuse my quirk, I um... throw up rainbows." Then, Eri laughed even more.

"Wow!!! That's so cool and interesting-" She was cut off by a massive slam behind her. She turned around, and we looked up in sync.

Emiko was behind us, giving us the death stare.
