-Uraraka's  POV-

As Deku entered our home, I greeted him with a smile.

"Welcome home, Izuku!" I smiled, making my way to him. We hugged for a bit, until he finally decided to let go. He chuckled a bit nervously, but I didn't question anything about it. "I'm about to start making dinner, is there something specific you want me to cook?" I questioned as I made my way to the kitchen.

"Think you could make kabayaki? I've been craving that lately." I let out a small grin, nodding peacefully.

"Of course! That is a nice dish after all." He gave me a sweet smile in return, and explained how he was going to take a quick shower while I cook. The greenette made his way down the hall, while I prepared our dinner by taking out the ingredients, handling them with care. As soon as I began to start cooking, the children came out from their bedroom and peeked over at the countertop, wondering what I was up to.

"What're ya making?" Kota asked in anticipation, while Eri beamed on the other side of me.

"Are you making unagi?" The little girl grinned as she asked her question. Her feet were starting to hurt after being on her toes for so long.

"No, I'm making a similar dish to that. Daddy asked if we could have it." I said patiently as I began to tie an apron around my back.

Kota gasped. "I think I know what you're making!!" I responded by looking at him, and raising an eyebrow. "Is it kabayaki? I heard Auntie Mina talk about that before!!" I nodded with glee.

"Yes it it!! In fact, that's one of her favorite foods!" I started to inform the children to see if they would be satisfied. "Before you two little ones came along, Auntie Mina, Auntie Momo, and I would cook it together sometimes!! The three of us would gather in the kitchen late at night, and prepare a nice meal! We let some people have some of their own, and everyone loved when we made it! It was lots of fun, and I miss being able to do that." I chuckled at the end as faint memories started flooding back. It had been forever since the three of us got together and did that. Now that I think about it, we only did that while we were in our first year! It's crazy to think about how time flies.

"That sounds fun!" Eri's shy self whispered as she decided to make her way to the dining table. "Maybe one day me, you, Kota, and Daddy should do that!" I giggled and nodded, hoping that one day we would be able to as well.

~~~
While the food was boiling, Izuku had just gotten out of his hot and steamy shower. He entered the kitchen with a white t-shirt and long, flannel sleep pants I gave him for Christmas one year, his hair still a bit damp. It's a shock to believe that the pants still fit him, yet he's grown much taller! I'm only about 5'3, and he's already almost 5'7. Our height between each other has changed drastically throughout the years. However, I'm not complaining.
"Hi Ochaco!" He waved, sitting next to me on our little sofa. I peeped out a smile, welcoming him. "How long has the food been boiling for?"
"Oh, only about five minutes." I gently responded. "It's about halfway done, so we can eat in a small bit." He let out a nervous chuckle, and I tilted my head a small bit. "...is something wrong?" I asked the boy, concerned if something was troubling him.
"Hah... not at all.. it's just..." He gently wrapped an arm around me, and rested his head on my shoulder. "I'm glad that we're like this. I'm glad we have a healthy happy family, and, I want to be able to stay like this." It's been a while since I blushed really hard around Izuku, since I'd been used to being flattered by him. However, that one time made me jump a tiny bit, and my cheeks were blood red. My mind was racing of all the possibilities this meant. Was he going to propose to me? Would we be able to finally live a happy life together and have a happy family, like now? Except... it's more so a proper family?
Millions of possibilities circled around in my head. And he just laughed it off like nothing. At one point, I finally got the courage to speak up, and tell him about my true feelings.
"I... I do too, Izuku. I love you so very much, and, well... I want to stay like this forever. I want us to be able to raise a happy family, and for us to live together for as long as we can, until time ends permanently." His face ended up getting hot as well. Although I couldn't see it, I could feel it on my chest as it radiated through my pastel yellow t-shirt. However, not long after, he ended up raising his head to me, and looked me dead in the eyes, our faces only a few inches away from one another's.
"That's what I'm saying, Ochaco. But, if I were to put it more in depth, what I'm truly trying to saying is.." He cut himself off, and reached into his pocket. I'd notice a small figure in there earlier, but decided not to mention it. After all, who knew what it could've been? "Ochaco Uraraka, will you be with me until the day I die, and marry me?"
I was in absolute utter shock.
I couldn't believe what I just heard.
Those words kept racing in my head over, and over, and over, to the point to where I just gave up, and slowly began to cry. Not out of frustration, or sadness.
But happiness.
This was the best feeling I'd ever felt in my entire life, yet I had no clue how to respond.
"If you say no, I completely u-understand. This can be a very difficult question to answer for s-some people, and if it for for y-you... I..." He took a deep breath before finishing his sentence. "I understand-" I cut him off with a gigantic hug, tears forming more and more in my chocolate eyes.
"Izuku, of course I'll marry you! I've always wanted to, since the day I first realized how much I love you! What on Earth makes you think I'd say no?" I released the hug, but continued to keep my hands on his shoulders. "I love you so much Izuku, you mean everything to me." He started to slowly cry as well, and ended up hugging me again with an urge of joy and relief sweeping over him.
"T-Thank you Ochaco... I love you too.." He ended up letting go, and slowly wiped the tears off my cheeks. "Now now, don't cry, I don't want to see you upset." I stopped him once again by giving him a small pat on the back.
"I'm not upset.." I giggled, while he cocked his head in confusion. "These are tears of joy, because I'm so happy I got lucky enough to end up with someone as wonderful as you." We sat there in silence, and we slowly inches closer and closer together, and allowed our lips to collide together.
From that point on, that was the beginning of our new life.
