Chapter 13

Note: If you haven't watched the third season yet (or if you read the manga chapter 70), I recommend you go ahead and watch/read it because it includes a new character introduced in the time period will be mentioned in this chapter and for the rest of the story. However, it's a character with very few appearances in the series, so I guess it's okay if you read this and you're still in season 1-2. I just wanted to give you a heads up! Also, this chapter is very short but it has a big cliffhanger!

-Eri's POV-

After I was taken by that mean Emiko, she tortured me worse than before. She would hurt me if I did something wrong, and I'd have only three things to eat in a day. She was slowly killing me, making me feel the pain and suffer greatly.

After feeling like what was forever, I forced myself to escape with Uraraka. I tugged on the chains locked to my arms and legs as hard as I could, negative and positive thoughts racing through my mind.

You got this! Save Uraraka! You'll never save her, you failure. You're so weak, just give up already!

Back and forth, they went. Something kept pushing me back that wasn't the chains. It was the sad thoughts. Slowly, I cried, not letting a single sound peep out of my mouth. I dropped to the ground, not feeling capable of anything, vulnerable of nothing. I was a failure. I wasn't gonna save Uraraka. At least, that's what I thought. Until I saw a certain boy with a red hat, two gold spikes close to the sides. His hair was black and pointy, and his eyes summed up his look.

"Hi..." He greeted me with a scratchy voice. "I'm Kota Izumi."
