(32): baby shower

Alana's POV:
-October 2nd 2019-
The pink roses at every table,the pink ribbons and bows hung carefully everywhere.
Anyone would know it was a baby shower at first glance.
Cherry Blossom is the theme,I look over at a light pink floral sign with the words "awaiting Yumi" and the almost lifelike huge fake cherry blossom trees surround the house.
My pink long dress flows down to the floor and my hair is styled with beachy waves,my makeup is light because I didn't want to cake myself up with makeup.
Jungkook is wearing a light pink (only real men wear pink) dressy shirt and black slacks.
He curled his hair so it looks wavy like mines,the guests will be arriving shortly,my heart is so happy that we are only a month away from seeing little Yumi and all of her greatness.
We are sitting outside since the weather is beautiful.
Jungkook kisses my cheek and goes inside to the kitchen to get something for us to drink while we wait,I stay sitting down on my phone scrolling through photos of me and Jungkook that was hidden away in my camera roll.
They are never before seen photos or mainly it's him telling me not to post them at the moment.
I smile when I hear a car door open and close.
I look up to see Ashley and Namjoon running over.
I see Ashley with a paper bag in one hand and a plastic bag in the other hand.
"Hey what's wrong?" I ask her and she rushes past me instead.
Namjoon hugs me quickly.
"She's not feeling well. She has flu-like symptoms" he says
"Does she have a fever? if not it could be a cold" I say
"No fever." He says and I go inside.
I run up the stairs,I head to me and Jungkook's room.
I find her sitting at the edge of the bed hunched over with the paper bag over her mouth and she's gagging.
"My poor bestie..what's wrong?" I ask her and she bursts out crying.
I hug her tightly and she grabs my hand.
"I-I think I'm pre-pregnant." She says and I wipe her tears away.
"What's wrong? That's exciting news!" I say
"It's not official but I feel that I am,Mingyu's been asking for a sibling and he calls Joon daddy and the whole topic of our future came up,I feel like everything's changing so fast." She says and I smile faintly.
"I remember a strong independent woman told me everything that was unexpected was going to be okay,it was all a blessing in disguise. Wanna know who that was?" I ask her and she nods.
"Me." She says sniffling.
"What's that?" I ask her pointing at the plastic bag.
"A pregnancy test I bought from a pharmacy,I haven't done it yet and I secretly bought it so Joon wouldn't see. What if he doesn't want a baby right now?" She says
"It's you and him together in one little baby. He's totally going to want one RIGHT at this moment." I say
"Can you watch me do this?" She asks me and I nod.
"Of course you're the god mom to my unborn child." I say and we go inside of the bathroom.
I lock the door and she quickly pees.
She does the test and we wait..
-5 minutes later-
The time is up and she grabs the stick.
She looks at it and then hands it to me.
"Mingyu's wish came true" she says and I look at it.
Positive.
"Omg" I say and hug her.
"I have no words..only that condoms aren't always a safe form of birth control." She says laughing
"That or they always break" I say and we stay hugging in the bathroom until we both realize the boys will eventually see we've been gone for too long and will find us.
So we quickly hide the evidence and we walk back downstairs after I give her a prenatal vitamin to control her nausea.
I find almost all of the guests arrived and are waiting for me.
They all clap when they see me and Jungkook smiles looking at me.
He grabs my hand and helps me down the stairs like a gentleman.
Namjoon grabs Ashley's hand and walks down the stairs with her.
"You look amazing princess" my mom says hugging me and rubbing my belly.
"Ooh she kicked" my mom exclaims when Yumi decides to give me a soccer player style kick and I nearly scream out in pain from that movement alone.
They say pregnancy is a beautiful thing.
Lies they say..
"Let's get on to the baby shower now!" I say and we all scatter around..
-later on-
We start a game called "Blindfold Diaper Changing Challenge" .
We gathered a couple of babydolls and a pack of diapers ahead of time before the event.
We put the diapers on the baby dolls.
If we're really feeling saucy, we can add a spoonful of Nutella to the diaper before putting it on the baby doll,but we are not doing that today.
Next, we blindfolded several of our guests (one for each babydoll).
Then we have them race to remove the dirty diaper.
Jungkook who I placed in the game while I film everyone on camera,struggles at first but finds a rhythm.
He wipes the babydoll clean and puts a new diaper on "Areum" the name he decided to name the babydoll.
Another rule,everyone had to name their doll so we could tally up the time and the points.
We're all racing against time despite the fact there's no time limit,it's truly because the one that finishes first is the winner!
Everyone's screaming and cheering each other on.
Ashley's recording Namjoon as he clumsily put the diaper on his doll aka "Nari-Young" and the poor doll is suffering from the heavy hands of Namjoon.
He's roughing up that doll so much,yikes.
Meanwhile..my brother.
Father of 4 kids!
He barely even grabbed a diaper in the beginning,Grace had to step in and help him at first then he got the hang of the game.
The final team consists of Taehyung because he wanted to do it for the hell of it.
Plus no one else was volunteering since everyone's pumped for the next game which will be shortly unveiled..
He's perfectly wiping the doll's bum but is scrambling to find diapers.
Since obviously everyone is blindfolded it's a hilarious sight to see 4 men struggle with diapers.
Even without the blindfolds guys struggle with this,I also put this game in because my Lamaze teacher Hoyeon insisted on me playing games that were baby related with Jungkook.
To make him more involved as if he isn't already.
"Aish baby I can't do this" he groans in frustration and I see he's halfway done.
"Almost there babe keep going please. Think of Yumi. Pretend Areum is Yumi." I say and I see his face change.
He gets more confident and carefully starts putting the diaper on.
After some time,I realize no one is truly done yet.
Namjoon's baby doll's diaper is crooked and nearly falling off of her as he tries to secure it.
But before he can do it,I hear "DONE" from the side of me and I turn to see Jungkook still blindfolded but with his arm up and a dangling Areum with her diaper snugly on.
"GOOD JOB BABE!" I say and kiss his cheek.
"Nah nah give me A KISS woman" he says and pulls me onto his lap.
"Okay daddy" I say smirking and kiss him.
"Who won?" Taehyung asks confused.
"You all can continue there's going to be 1st,2nd and 3rd place so hurry" I say suddenly changing the rules.
"ALRIGHT THEN" Namjoon says and rushes along with Taehyung and my brother.
-after a while-
Namjoon got 2nd place,my brother 3rd and Taehyung lost.
We now are heading into the next game,another game that involves the guys but this time us girls help out a lot.
They all sit down on the chairs,I hand all of the guys baby bottles filled with beer.
The one that drinks and finishes their bottle the fastest wins.
We start counting down..
"10"
"9"
"8"
"7"
"6"
"5"
"4"
"3"
"2"
"1"
"GO!" I shout loudly and they all start chugging.
I see Jungkook slightly behind and I glance over at Ashley who's screaming at Namjoon to chug faster.
But then I look over when I hear loud screaming erupt and I see Jimin chugging down the beer like nothing,not stopping to catch air like the rest..
He chugs and chugs his way down the last drop.
He finishes it and stands up triumphantly while we all cheer.
Lord he's a fast drinker,what am I saying?
This is the same man that insisted on morning mimosas..at 5am!
Jungkook smirks and throws down his bottle in defeat which is half full still while Jhope finishes second and Jin gives up by drinking only a quarter of it.
I hug Jungkook tightly.
"You can't win all of them babe" I say and he nods kissing my hand lightly.
-meanwhile-
Ashley's POV:
Namjoon walks over to me after seeing me so quiet in the corner,he grabs my hand tightly and wraps his strong arms around me.
"What's wrong with my queen?" He asks me in my ear worriedly and moves a strand of loose raven colored hair out of my face.
I smile faintly.
"I'm tired that's all from all the-uh..vomiting?" I say and he sighs.
"Let me take you to my room real quick." He says
"Oh no Joonie I'm-OH ok!" I say as he lifts me up before I could finish my protest and throws me over his shoulder.
He carries me upstairs and gently lays me down in bed.
He covers me in blankets and lays next to me.
I trace my fingers around his massive hand.
It's so large compared to my small chubby hand.
"Do you need any meds I can go get some" he asks me and I shake my head.
"You need to rest then." He says and goes to stand up.
"Don't leave me here. Stay please." I whine.
he walks over to the door and locks it.
He climbs back on top of the bed and strips his long sleeved shirt.
He helps me out of my dress and has me change into his shirt instead.
Which fits like a dress on me.
I giggle and I ask him to help me take out my contacts.
He blows in my eyeball when during the process a eyelash bothers my eye.
"That's way better" I say when the eyelash finally flew out and he finally finished getting my eye contacts out.
Since me and Namjoon have the same prescription in glasses,I grab one of his glasses and put it on.
"Awhhh you look so cute!!" He says and hugs me from behind as I stare back at my reflection in the mirror.
Should I tell him? I debate in my head over and over again,would he even want a baby right now?
We're so perfect just us 3,I doubt he would want to jumpstart into having kids now.
My thoughts are interrupted when he stands up from the bed and holds both of my hands.
"Are you okay? You look lost in thought" he says and I just silently hug him tightly.
"Umm..okay? Babe you're scaring me really bad." He says and has me sit down while he pulls out a rolling chair from his desk.
He sits down while I'm sitting at the edge of the bed.
"Joon..you know I always tell you everything that's on my mind." I say biting my lips nervously.
"Of course and I love that about you." He says and kisses my hand.
"Well..there's something on my mind." I say
"Well talk then..don't leave me in suspense." He says and moves the chair closer so my legs are crossed and the chair is pushed up against the bed.
"Babies are on my mind." I say
"Really? I mean it's a bit early to think about that we're not even married.." he says and my heart sank hearing those words.
"I know but..I'm thinking of a particular baby." I say and he smiles.
"Mingyu's no longer a baby Ash. He's starting Pre-K next year."
"No...I'm talking about the one I'm growing inside of me right now" I blurt out finally with confidence and I watch his face change.
Assuming it's for the worst I start spurring out about on how we should've been more careful if he didn't want kids and how I should've been on birth control but I stopped taking it after a allergic reaction to one of the meds after I had Mingyu.
I'm cut off when he slams his lips on mine.
"Oh my god babe. Oh wow. WE'RE GOING TO BE PARENTS! Our son is going to be a big brother." He says and I burst out crying hearing him call Mingyu his son.
We hug each other and he wipes my tears away.
"Never hide stuff like that babe! You could've told me! I'm so sorry about what I said..it's not too soon or early okay? It's meant to be that we have this baby." He says and I smile at him.
"I'm happy you're excited because I was worried sick that you wouldn't want a baby right now since we're so perfect together just us and Mingyu." I say
"You guys + that baby growing inside of you will always be loved by me,why? because we'll be perfect as 4,5 or whatever number we stop at okay? I love you and I never want you to worry ever again." He says and I nod.
"I love you too Joonie" I say and he kisses me again.
-meanwhile downstairs-
Alana's POV:
I grow worried about where Ashley is but luckily the baby shower is over and all we have to do is clean now that the guests have left,Jungkook sees me bend down to clean underneath one of the tables and he picks me up bridal style.
"We have a cleaning staff that will come and clean this up tomorrow morning. You? You go rest! You've been on your heels all day and I know you very well that your feet are dying right now." He says and brings me upstairs despite me fighting him off.
"But-"
"No but's..except yours because it's so juicy damn!" He says as he smacks my ass.
I gasp and he grabs my waist.
"Did you like your baby shower princess?" He asks me as I lay down after removing my heels.
"Very much." I say and he pats his thigh.
"Climb on here." He says and I raise a eyebrow.
"Kookie I'm tired I'm not in the mood." I say and he rolls his eyes.
He grabs me and places me on top of him.
So I'm straddling him.
"What do you want now my king?" I ask him rolling my eyes.
"I just wanna kiss you,damn you're truly not in the mood" he says and leans in closer to me.
"Luckily I know how to handle your attitudes" he adds and licks his lips sexily.
"Try me misterI swear-" I gasp when he flips me over and starts kissing down my neck.
"Kookie-Jungkook!" I giggle as he travels down lower.
I run my hands down his body and start unbuckling his belt.
"What happened to not being in the mood?" He asks me smirking deviously and raising a eyebrow.
"Shut up and give me what I want." I say pushing his pants down.
"I don't know..you said you didn't-"
"I swear if you don't do what you were setting out to do. I'll kill you right now" I say and he chuckles.
"You couldn't choke me with those small hands of yours" he says and starts nibbling on my neck.
"No hickeys mister" I say as I try to remove my dress.
"You're mine and you're my wife." He says
"I don't care. No hickeys." I say and he sighs.
"Fine..but I'll probably leave some where it's not visible.." he says winking..
Let's just say tonight was amazing in so many ways..
