Chapter 10: Of False Vows and Forced Love

"May I ask," Ushijima started saying to Tendou as The Violet Eagle started making their way back to the village after the fight with the hydra, "What made you dye your hair? I mean, it's not like I hate it or anything. Personally, I find it amazing. I just wanted to know the reason why?"

Semi coughed an awkward cough again, and Shirabu just elbowed him, earning a laugh from Reon and a squeal from Goshiki.

Tendou didn't know whether to feel offended or to feel grateful.

"It's actually.... Naturally... Colored... This way."

"Oh. That's even better then. You look amazing in everything."

"Oh my fucking shit. STOP being so lovey dovey and everything. It's creeping my ass."
Semi groaned for the umpteenth time since Ushijima's confession to Tendou.

Tendou didn't gave him a response though, which made Ushijima think he still has to prove his worth.

"Don't be so salty, Semi-san!" Goshiki pouted. "After all, Tendou-san and Ushijima-san look cute together!"

Reon laughed. "What he said."

Shirabu sighed heavily. "Why am I surrounded by these people."

Tendou pinched Shirabu's cheeks.
"Don't be like that, ShiraBangs! You can deny all you want but you love uuuuusss!!!"

Reon laughed harder. "What he said."

Ushijima tilted his head. "Is mocking each other's name a sign of friendship?"

Semi stared at him in horror.
"Shit, don't--"

"ShiraBoom."

Everyone stared at Ushijima, dumbfounded, unsure of what to say.

Shirabu was offended. "Fuck, why me?"

"Oh! Is making fun of Shirabu-san's name a thing now?"
Goshiki asked, rather enthusiastically.

"Goshiki," Semi warned, "Don't--"

"SemHey Heyta!!"

Semi blinked. "What the fuck?"

"I figured you should get one too, Semi-san!"

"....You piece of shit--"

Reon stood in between them.
"Now, let's not fight, shall we?"

"Should Reon get one too?"
Ushijima asks, looking at the heavens, already thinking for a weird name for Reon.

"Ushijima, stop."
Shirabu sighed in frustration as he held a hand in front of Ushijima's face.

Tendou laughed to himself. "I don't know what I'll do if they actually forgot about me."

Semi raised a brow. "You were saying?"

"Nothing, Semisemi!"

They were greeted back to the village by a crowd of roaring people, cheering for them. Some even shouting their respective names.

Goshiki couldn't believe his ears.
"What? What? Are we arrested for something?"

Semi hummed. "It seems like it's the opposite."

One voice was standing out, though.
"TENDOOOUUUU!!!!"

Tendou smiled immediately after hearing that voice. "Bokuto-san!"

Bokuto suddenly appeared from the seas of people, engulfing Tendou in a big hug as soon as she saw him.

"It spread like wildfire, you know."
